Stampin’ Up! CAS Stargazing Reach for the Stars Card

Good morning and welcome back to your work-week!  AND – this is the LAST week to earn Bonus Days coupons (that you’l spend in August!).  I can’t believe that it’s almost over!

MAYBE you’ll want to add today’s goodies to your stash (while earning those coupons!).  It’s the Reach for the Stars bundle, the gorgeous Stargazing DSP and some pretty (shiiinnnyyy) Holographic Trio Specialty Paper!  Those are what I used to make a quick and easy card that would be great for…graduation!?  A new job?!  Starting a new business??  Well – take a look-see and YOU decide!

Stampin' Up! CAS Stargazing Reach for the Stars Card - Stamps-N-Lingers

The layout for this one was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.

This one is super quick and super easy so…buckle up!

I started by adhering a piece of Lemon Lime Twist paper from the Stargazing DSP to a Starry Sky mat for the card front.

The next layer is a star-studded galactic design from the pack – also matted on Starry Sky – and adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On the same Lemon Lime Twist Stargazing DSP, I stamped the Reach for the Stars sentiment in Starry Sky ink.

I used the next-to-smallest Nested Essentials rectangle die to cut out the sentiment, then I adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

From one of the Stargazing DSP pages, I used my Paper Snips to fussy cut one of the ringed planets – picking an Orchid Oasis/Berry Burst beauty for this one!

I adhered the planet to the card front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using both stars dies in the Reach for the Stars die set, I cut out seven stars from Berry Burst Holographic Trio Specialty Paper.

I used little dabs of Liquid Glue to adhere the die cut stars and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Reach for the Stars sentiment in Starry Sky ink on a Basic White panel.  Then I added some Berry Burst stars!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Starry Sky mat and into my Berry Burst card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Berry Burst Reach for the Stars stars on the front…

…and more Stargazing DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This Stargazing DSP is truly…out of this world, don’t you think?!  I just love it – and I love being able to die cut – or do a quick fussy cut! – all sorts of celestial bodies to use on my projects!  The Reach for the Stars stamp set and bundled dies are perfect companions, too!

Apparently…not gonna use it.

Seriously, doggus??

You’ll dry me off, Mom – I’m not worried.
