Good morning again and happy happy Hawwwmp Day! So…the Stamp Sale has been on for about 5 hours – are you up and at ’em?! I mean….15% is nothing to sneeze at…so…be sure not to tarry TOO long. My card today doesn’t even USE a stamp set. How’s that for awesome planning ahead?! 🤷♀️🤷♀️. It doesn’t even use INK! Instead – it takes all its fun and gorgeousness from the Bright & Beautiful Memories & More Card Pack and the coordinating Cards & Envelopes pack! And – it sports a cool technique, too. Take a look-see:
So – this is a Floating Strips Technique card – and it’s super easy!
First off, I used the largest die in the Scalloped Contours Die Set to cut out a Basic Black mat – which I adhered to the front of one cards in the Bright & Beautiful Memories & More Cards and Envelopes.
I pulled out a piece of Window Sheet – about 5″ x 7″.
Using my Paper Trimmer, I cut one of the large cards in the Bright & Beautiful Memories & More Card Pack into 1/2″ strips along the short side. I cut all the way down – leaving me with 6 strips and one too-small extra.
Using Liquid Glue – sparingly! – I adhered the strips to the piece of Window Sheet – leaving a small gap between each strip.
Once it had dried, I used the next-to-largest Scalloped Contour Die to cut out the card front.
I put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the die cut – hiding them behind the solid strips – and adhered it to the Basic Black mat.
I picked one of the sentiment stickers in the Bright & Beautiful Memories & More Card Pack. I tapped the sticky side on my arm a few times to un-sticky-fy it and then used Dimensionals to adhere it to a tiny black mat.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the matted sentiment to the card front.
Finally – I added some Berry Burst sequins from the Adhesive-backed Sequins Trio and the card front was done!
On the inside, I added two more stickers from the Card Pack on a Basic White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Basic Black mat and into the card base and the card was done!
The Bright & Beautiful Memories & More Cards and Envelopes need ZERO decorating! They’re ALREADY gorgeous!
And even the back and inside of the envelope flap are fun! 🙂
Et Voila! Y’all – is this such a fun technique – and it’s really pretty darned easy! And – I know I used to think that the Memories & More products were ONLY for scrapbooking (and they ARE great for that!) but…I was wrong! You can make tons of festive cards with the Bright & Beautiful Memories & More Card Pack – and the coordinating Cards & Envelope make it even quicker and easier!

Such a cute card! Love the fun confetti background. Poor Finn…he hardly has anything to play with. Ginny is jealous of his stash, she’d have the stuffing ripped out of every one of those toys within the first 3 minutes but she’d have so much fun doing that! 😉
