Good morning and happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! I got some things done in prep for leaving next week – felt all proud of myself (you’re all over this, girl!!) – and then…almost missed our team meeting on Sunday! 🤷♀️🤷♀️. But I made it in before the end so…no harm done!
My card today is a mashup of two fun things! Okay – maybe…four! The Little Monkey Bundle (a PUNCH bundle!!) works hand in…paw?…with the Wanted To Say a la carte die set. And the Let’s Go Fishing DSP sets a fun, masculine stage. Take a look-see:
And the layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week!
I started by adhering a little plaid Let’s Go Fishing DSP to a Mossy Meadow mat for the card front. Hmmm – I feel SURE I had a pair of wool pants in this EXACT pattern when I was in High School. Yes – I was THAT cool! 😉
I used two new Nested Essentials dies on the front of the card. For the top sentiment – I cut the smallest die from Crushed Curry. Then I inked the TOP line of a Little Monkey sentiment in Mossy Meadow and stamped the die cut. Then I inked PART of the bottom line of the sentiment and centered it under the first line. Note: I did NOT ink the word “HI”!
I popped the top sentiment on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the bottom sentiment, I used the next-to-largest Nested Essentials die to cut out a Mossy Meadow shape – which I then embossed in one of the Geometric Patterns Embossing Folders. I adhered this one with Liquid Glue.
Wanted to Say is the source of that AMAZEBALLS die cut sentiment! I cut the “shadow” in Pecan Pie and the detailed part in Crushed Curry and adhered them together with Liquid Glue. Then I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the die cut piece.
I punched two Pecan Pie Little Monkeys with the Monkey Builder Punch – and two faces and four ears from Crumb Cake. I stamped Pecan Pie faces – and gave them little “cheeks” with the Cajun Craze Watercolor Pencil.
I adhered faces with a Dimensional – and the ears with Liquid Glue. Then I popped each of them onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Neutrals Adhesive-backed Sequins and…the card front was done!
For the inside, I stamped the swingy monkey from the Little Monkey set in Pecan Pie on a Basic White panel. I colored them with my Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends – and added some Watercolor Pencil Cajun Craze cheeks!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and into my Crushed card base, popped the card base on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got a Little Monkey swinger on the front…
…and some more wool pants….er….Let’s Go Fishing DSP on the envelope flap! 😉
Et Voila! Once again – the Little Monkey bundle comes thru with some fun little dudes and sweet sentiments! I LOVE sentiment dies – and the Wanted To Say set is PERFECT! It covers Happy Birthday, You’re Too Kind, Feel Better Soon, and Celebrate! And the detailed font die cuts are big enough to handle and adhere perfectly. And – if you’ve sort of…dismissed the Let’s Go Fishing DSP because you don’t have any fisherman in your circle – then…I hope you’ll give it another look-see!
I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
We don’t have a huge house.
It’s pretty average, really.
But – there IS enough floor space for an Aussie to sleep. Even a sort of XL Aussie such as The Man.
So – one has to wonder why…
…he decided that THIS was the only spot to sleep.
Glad PETA can’t see this – there’s no telling what they’d decide we were “doing” to him! 🤷♀️🤷♀️

Such a cute card! Love the little monkey images, perfect! Poor Finn…he does have a rough life, especially when he has to fit into such tiny little spaces. 😉
Thanks so much, Amy! 🙂
