Good morning and happy Monday! We’re on the downhill stretch to Christmas, y’all! I did a ton of baking yesterday – some things more than once! – and have some more on the agenda for today! Goal: everything in the mail by Thursday. Okay – maybe Friday….of THIS week (just to be clear!!). We’ll see if I make it!
My card today features another new product or two from the Jan – Apr 2023 Mini Catalog – I know you’re surprised! This is one you MIGHT miss – so I wanted to make sure you didn’t! It’s the Around the Bend bundle – and I paired it up with a little Country Floral Lane DSP! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge!
I started by adhering a piece of the new – and gorgeous! – Country Floral Lane DSP to the front of a Balmy Blue card base. Y’all – this paper is SO pretty!
On the bottom of a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the scallop image from the Around the Bend stamp set in Mint Macaron. Then I used the scalloped die in the bundled Around the Bend die set to cut it off just below the stamped image. Note the sweet curves of the image and the die!
In the top corner, I stamped the corner-leaves image from Around the Bend in Mint Macaron – then I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Balmy Blue mat.
Next, I stamped the sentiment from Around the Bend in Mossy Meadow near the bottom of the Balmy Blue panel. Then I adhered the whole thing to the card front with more Liquid Glue.
Using the dies in the Around the Bend die set, I cut two Basic White flowers, two Pale Papaya centers, two Mint Macaron two-leaf leaves and two Mossy Meadow fronds.
I adhered the leaves to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I added the little flower centers with Liquid Glue – then I popped the flowers on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added a few white dots from the new Enamel Essentials Dots pack and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the corner leaves again in Mint Macaron twice on a Basic White panel. Then I added a second Around the Bend sentiment in Mossy Meadow.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Balmy Blue mat and into the card base and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the leaves in Mint Macaron on the front…
…and a little more of that beautiful Country Floral Lane DSP on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! See why I didn’t want you to miss the Around the Bend bundle?!? It’s so cute – I love the sentiments and the little flowers are adorable! It’s one you’re going to want, I am totally sure! The Country Floral Lane DSP is beautiful – and will be part of MANY projects!!
If you’d like to recreate this card, all the products and card cuts are listed below! And I made a short video on how to make this one – you can see it right here!
I’ve also created a printable PDF with written instructions and a list of the products used to create this project. You can download, print and/or save it by clicking this image:
