Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn Sneak Peek Thank You with Video Tutorial

Good morning and happy happy Friday!  Whoo-hoo!  Do you have something fun planned for the weekend? 🙂

Just a quick PSA – today’s the last day to cash in on Double Peppermints!  All orders thru my Online Store over $75 (before shipping & tax) qualify – so… 🙂

My card today is very very simple – it’s essentially one layer – and it showcases another new stamp set from the Jul – Dec 2022 Mini Catalog!  The Fond of Autumn stamp set has beautiful Fall images and sweet sentiments.  Even though I didn’t use it for this card, it’ll also have the cool Autumn Bouquet Die set bundled with it.  Take a look-see:

I made this as a clean and simple single layer card thanks to the challenge over at The Paper Players this week!

I also did a video on how to make this card – if you were able to join me yesterday, I appreciate it!  But if not, and you’d like to see how it was done, check it out right here!

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the big Fall image from Fond of Autumn in Early Espresso on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Then I stamped the sentiment, also in Early Espresso.

I pulled the panel out of the Stamparatus and used my Watercolor pencils in Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Early Espresso to color the image.

Once everything was colored – I used my Simply Scored Scoring Tool to create a “frame”.  I placed the panel into the board with the long side at the top and scored it at 4 3/4″ and 5″.  That’s 5/8″ and 3/8″ from the end of the panel.  Then I rotated the panel 90″ and repeated that.  I kept rotating and scoring until the frame was complete!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the front of my Thick Very Vanilla card base.  Then I used my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to color the Cherry Cobbler berries and the tops of the acorns.  I added a gold Flowers Adhesive-backed Trinket and the card front was done!

For the inside, I stamped the small floral from Fond of Autumn in Early Espresso in the corner of a Very Vanilla panel.  I colored it with the Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Early Espresso Watercolor Pencils.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the card base and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the small Fond of Autumn flower on the front…

…and I stamped a couple of the small acorns from the set in Early Espresso (and colored with my Early Espresso Watercolor Pencil – and the Clear Wink on top) on the envelope flap.

Et Voila! How pretty is this?  I love the flowers and the acorns and the leaves.  And it’s a nice bonus that the sentiments in the Fond of Autumn set are super pretty.  Remember that you’ll be able to pick up the whole bundle (and save 10%!) when the catalog goes live.  The Autumn Bouquet Dies will cut out all the floral images and a sentiment banner!

But – this card just needed stamps – ink/pencils – cardstock.  And a Score Tool!

I hope you like!

If you’d like to recreate this card, all the products and card cuts you’ll need are down below!

And…I’ve also created a printable PDF with written instructions and a list of the products used to create this project.  You can download, print and/or save it by clicking this image:

And yep – the Fond of Autumn bundle is part of my Special Bundle #6 – Fall’s My Fave!  Be sure to check it out and get it for yourself!

Finn Fan Fix

Finn was back at his post – it had been too long since the sheriff was in town.

He could tell there’d been a lot of hijinks in his absence.

No more, squirrels.

No.  More.

Really pretty card–I need to use my watercolor and colored pencils more often. They’re neglected. Looks like Finn is sending mental warnings there, for sure! I’m inspired by so many of your cards!
