Stampin’ Up! Time Of Giving Gifts with Pretty Pumpkins with Video Tutorial!

Morning, y’all!  Happy Weekend-eve!  Hope you’ve got something fun planned! 🙂

If you were able to join me yesterday for my YouTube tutorial, I appreciate you spending part of your day with me!  If not – but you’d like to see the replay…here ’tis!

My card today is one that really plays to the season – FALL!  I used the Time of Giving bundle, with the sweet little pumpkin die from Seasonal Swirls, plus a sentiment from the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge.

I started by matting two pieces of In Good Taste DSP on Cajun Craze – and then adhered them together with Liquid Glue.

Using the same darker-wood DSP that I’d used on the card front, I ran a Tailored Tags Die thru the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the small pumpkin “tag die” from the Giving Gifts Die set (bundled with Time of Giving) placed inside the Tailored Tags Die.

I adhered the resulting tag to the card front with Liquid Glue.

With the multi-leaf die in the Giving Gifts die set, I cut several leaves from the gold paper in the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper.  I adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue –  also adding two to the end of the tag and tucking a couple under the tag.

Using the fun little pumpkin die from the Seasonal Labels Die set, I cut two Cinnamon Cider and one Cajun Craze pumpkin.  These are popped onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from Time of Giving in Early Espresso on another piece of the In Good Taste DSP (the same design that I’d used on the smaller panel on the front) and cut it out with a Stitched Rectangle Die.

I popped the sentiment onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a Linen Thread Double-Loop bow and adhered it over the leaves on the end of the tag using a Glue Dot.

I added some Pumpkin Pie gems from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set in Early Espresso on a Very Vanilla panel.  Over the top, I stamped the wheat image from Time of Giving in stamped-off-twice Cinnamon Cider ink.

I used Stampin Seal to adhere the panel to a Cajun Craze mat and into my Cinnamon Cider card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Time of Giving wheat image in Cinnamon Cider on the front…

…and more of the In Good Taste DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This card just says FALL to me!  I love the Time of Giving bundle with the cool Gift Giving die set – and it coordinates so well with the Tailor Made Tags dies!  Pretty Pumpkins has wunnermus sentiments – in addition to the pretty pumpkins! 😉

I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix

The other day Wayne needed some things from Lowe’s, so Finny and I tagged along.  NEVER turn down a chance to go for 1) a ride and 2) a trip to a store-that-likes-dogs!!

I don’t care much about caulk so we wandered off to check out the kitchen cabinets and stuff. It’s always fun to see the new goodies – and…you know.  Drool a little! 😉

Like…check this out!  I have some serious cabinet-envy!

Oh – did you notice a dog in the photo?!?

Yep – there he is.  On a Distance-Down!  And doing a great job.  I didn’t ask for a Distance-Sit cuz…slippery floors are HARD to sit on!  His front feet keep sliding down!

And – he did sort of stand up in preparation for fleeing when a big forklift rolled by.

I mean…it was BEEPING! 😳😳😳

But – he did NOT flee and went back down as soon as I reminded him!

Not bad considering the spotty consistency I’ve had with his training, huh??

SUCH a smart boy!

I’m with Finn on those beeping forklifts—I prepare to take off too!! Such a smart boy indeed.

    • stampsnlingers

It WAS big and it WAS loud! Hard to blame him, really – and he’s not a fan of loud noises anyway! Thank you so much, Susan! 🙂

Oh, this is lovely, Mary – I’ve been meaning to try this little pumpkin – I think I’m picking this bundle up every day now, lol. I so love the “natural” feel to this card! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!

Super Fall card and love the idea of combining the pumpkins in “gifts” dies and the wreath pumpkin! Finn’s such a good boy, our dog would be giving the forklift some loud “Hey, You!s”.

    • stampsnlingers

LOL! Love it! Finn can belt out some “Hey, You’s” for sure – but…not when it comes to loud beepers! He just departs! Thanks very much, Gail! 🙂
