Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
I decided to play with the new Eden’s Garden stamp set with the bundled Eden Dies and gorgeous Ever Eden Specialty DSP. I can’t help it – it’s so pretty! Take a look-see:
And….here’s our sketch!
I also thought it was feminine enough to qualify for the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge!
I started by adhering a piece of the new Ever Eden Specialty DSP (available on 2 Nov!) on Evening Evergreen for the card front.
Next up is the beautiful Basic White frame die cut from the Eden Die set (avail on 2 Nov) that I adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I used some Stampin’ Seal to adhere two strips of Evening Evergreen 3/8″ Chevron Weave Ribbon across the card front.
Using the single leaf die from the set, I cut a few leaves from the Ever Eden Cotton Paper (this paper is also coming on 2 Nov) – two in Evening Evergreen and one in Soft Succulent.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the leaves to the card front.
I tied a small gold bow from the Simply Elegant Trim and adhered it with a Glue Dot.
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Eden’s Garden sentiment in Evening Evergreen then I cut it out with the largest circle die in the Tasteful Labels die set. Yes – I’ve told you that you NEED this die set if you don’t have it – not backing down on it! 😉
I popped the sentiment onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some of the Soft Succulent Garden Gems and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the large floral image from Eden’s Garden (available on 2 Nov) in Soft Succulent on a piece of Basic White. Over the top I added a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (available right now in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog) in Evening Evergreen. Y’all – this is ANOTHER work-horse of a stamp set. All sentiments all the time – and uber-useful to have in your tool chest!
I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to an Evening Evergreen mat and into my Thick Basic White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got some of the smaller leaf images from Eden’s Garden in Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen on the front…
…and more of the Ever Eden Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! The botanical images in the Eden’s Garden stamp set – combined with the leafy frames and edge-die in the bundled Eden Dies – are truly lovely. And the remainder of the suite of goodies (that will ONLY be available from 2 Nov – 3 Jan) are gorgeous!
I hope you like!
