Stampin’ Up! Strong of Heart Quiet Meadow Card

Well – it’s happened.  Monday.  Again.  Hope you had a great weekend!  We stuck pretty close to home – Wayne worked on the barn, I worked in my craft room!

My card today is so clean and simple I am a little shocked that it came from my brain!  It uses the pretty Strong of Heart and Quiet Meadow stamp sets – plus a couple of pretty die cuts from the Scalloped Contours die set.  Take a look-see:

I was inspired by the Inspo List from this week’s Festive Friday challenge.  I picked heart – orange – texture – love sentiment.

I started by embossing a Basic White panel in the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder and then I adhered it to the front of my Thick Basic White card base with Liquid Glue.

I pulled out the Scalloped Contours die set and used the largest rectangle die to cut a piece of Calypso Coral paper from the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP.

I stamped the pretty heart from Strong of Heart in Basic Gray on a piece of Basic White and cut it with the next-to-largest Scalloped Contours die.

I colored the flowers and leaves with my Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.

I stamped a sentiment from the Quiet Meadow stamp set in Basic Gray and popped the panel onto the card front with more Dimensionals.

I added a couple of Pale Papaya Genial Gems and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a Strong of Heart sentiment in Basic Gray on a Basic White panel.  Next to it I added the small heart from the set in Calypso Coral.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Calypso Coral mat and into the card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got some small hearts in Calypso Coral on the front…

…and more of the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I think the Strong of Heart image is one of the prettiest we’ve had – I love how the flowers are integrated into the heart outline!  Quiet Meadow (from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog) is lovely, too – with pretty images and sentiments!  And if you don’t have the Scalloped Contours die set (in the Annual Catalog – and you can get it bundled with the Colors & Contours stamp set) – then…I think you need to remedy that right now!

I hope you like!

You’ve still got today and tomorrow to take advantage of my Paper & Packaging Special so don’t miss out on a chance to get a head start on the big mailing season that is right around the corner! 🙂
