Stampin’ Up! Timeworn Nature’s Harvest Sending Healing Thoughts

Happy happy HAAWMMP Day!  It’s downhill from here, y’all!  And…we’ve got good stuff happening on the weekend – can you say…World Card Making Day!?  Yep – we’re going to be hosting a FB Live Event with card demos and prizes and all sorts of fun!  Watch for more info as we get closer!

I’ve got a pretty card from the retreat for you today – this one was from Cindy Blaine and it uses some of my favorite things from the Jul – Dec 2021 Mini Catalog – the Nature’s Harvest Bundle, Cork Specialty Paper and…the Timeworn 3D Embossing Folder.  Take a look-see:

And this is a perfect choice for Fall and the Inspired By challenge!

I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock that I embossed in the Timeworn 3D Embossing Folder.  Then I used a Blending Brush to add Crumb Cake ink all over to create that vintage look!

Using the Harvest Dies (bundled with the Nature’s Harvest stamp set – and, not for nuthin’ – this bundle is one of the ones you could pick for FREE if you join the team before the end of September!), I cut a Crumb Cake branch and a Calypso Coral “grass” die cut.  Then I adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the large floral from Nature’s Harvest in Tuxedo Black and cut it with the matching die in the Harvest Die set.

Using Light Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, I colored the flowers and leaves.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the flowers over the grasses.

I cut a strip of amazeballs Cork Specialty Paper then angled each end and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal.

I tied a Linen Thread Double-Loop bow and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Nature’s Harvest sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and cut it with the longer label die in the Harvest Die set.

Using double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals – I popped the sentiment over the Cork and bow.  Then I added some Brushed Metallic Adhesive-backed Dots and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a small floral from Nature’s Harvest in in Tuxedo Black on a Basic White panel.  I colored just the flowers with my Light Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to the inside of my Crumb Cake card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

The front of my Basic White Medium Envelope got the small Nature’s Harvest flower…

…and more of the Cork Specialty Paper on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I loved this card when we made it – and knew that you would, too!  I mean – Nature’s Harvest, some Harvest Die cuts, Timeworn 3D Embossing AND Cork Specialty Paper!?  It’s like…a Trifecta.  Only with…FOUR things!  A…Quadfecta!?

I hope you like!  And – if you don’t already have the Nature’s Harvest Bundle – pick it up for free by joining the team right now!!

If you’d like to re-create this card, all the card cuts and products used are listed down below!

Finn Fan Fix

Wayne had to go to Home Depot today to get some lumber.

So…after we applied for and got a second mortgage to pay for a couple of 2 by 4 – 20’s (🤔)…he asked me if Finn wanted to go.

Since he didn’t even twitch – I assumed he was staying home with me! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

  1. Such a pretty card! Love the design, perfect colors too! 🙂 Poor Finn…so worn out from squirrel hunting that he missed a trip to Home Depot. He does have a rough life. 😉

    • stampsnlingers

Yes – his life is really really hard, for sure! Thanks, Amy! 🙂

  2. This is such a beautiful card, Mary. I love that EF but I think I’ve only used it once. The bundle is one of the best. Your bow goes without saying! I have bow envy!!

  3. Susan K

Beautiful card. I love the way the Timeworn Type EF stands out with the blending over it. The bow adds just the right touch!
Finny is still worn out from the weekend excursion!

    • stampsnlingers

Thank you, Susan! I appreciate it. And yes – driving events tire EVERYONE out! 🙂

  4. Faith Simpson

Another beauty of a card!! I’ve come to realize that fall cards are my most favorite of all. Stampin Up did a great job with sets for the fall season.
Finn surprises me….every dog I know will snap out of a sound sleep at the word “GO”. Did Wayne whisper so he didn’t hear? Finn-y looks VERY hunkered in tho….

    • stampsnlingers

He must have – but Finny was sacked out SO hard….he NEEDED his rest! Thank you so much, Karen – and I agree. Fall cards RULE! 🙂

  5. Agree with Faith about the fall cards. They are my favs too. And SU has great sets for making them. This one is a beauty.

    • stampsnlingers

Yes – SU is really good with all things “Fall”! Thanks, Julie! 🙂

  6. Such a gorgeous representation of all the things about Fall we love: the colors, the grasses, and those pretty Coneflowers – nearly spent.
Thanks so much for sharing your pretty Fall card with us at IB, Mary!

Thanks very much, Michele – appreciate you stopping by! 🙂

  7. Gail S.

Beautiful card, Mary. I’m awaiting the arrival of my bundle any day now!

  8. Bernie (Bernadette)

Mary, sometimes I just stare at your creations – literally. No, I am not thinking ‘what in the world had she done?!’ 😆. What you manage to combine is always so beautiful. I know that you use sketch and color challenges for some ideas but it takes me hours to get started on a card. My style is similar to yours but I need to learn to use embellishments. Forget the rhinestones.
Thanks for sharing and entertaining us. It is appreciated.

Thank you so much, Bernie – that is very kind, and very nice to hear! I am so glad that you like my creations! 🙂

  9. My goodness this is a stunning fall card! Thank you for inspiring us @IB this week!

Thank you so much, Danni! Appreciate you stopping by! 🙂
