Good morning! Hope your week is going well. Not too many more days in 2020, y’all! We’ll be sleeping thru New Year’s before we know it. Be sure that you’ve picked up your Black Eyed Peas and Collard Greens. After 2020 – I’d say we need as much luck and prosperity as we can get. I, for one, am taking no chances! 🙂
My card today combines the Forever Greenery DSP and the Forever Fern stamp set – both available right now in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog – with another sneak peek of the amazing Happy Thoughts sentiment set coming in like…a week!…in the Jan – Jun 2021 Mini Catalog. Take a look-see:
This pretty color palette is from the Sunday Stamps color challenge!
I started by matting a piece of Forever Greenery DSP on Pretty Peacock for the card front.
I used my Stamparatus to stamp a sentiment from the new Happy Thoughts set in Pretty Peacock on a piece of Gray Granite. Then I added some greenery from the Forever Fern set in Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz.
I used another of the Forever Fern stamps to add spatters all around in stamped-off-once Gray Granite.
I matted the panel on Pretty Peacock, then wrapped a piece of Linen Thread twice around it – finishing with a simple bow. I used a Glue Dot under the bow to secure it all in place.
I popped the panel onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Happy Thoughts in Pretty Peacock on a Whisper White panel. Then I added a little more Forever Fern greenery in Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz and stamped-off-once Gray Granite spatters.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pretty Peacock mat and into my Gray Granite card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Forever Fern greenery and spatters on the front…
…and more Forever Greenery DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! It’s so easy to lose track of the wonderful products we’ve got in the Annual Catalog – like Forever Fern and the gorgeous Forever Greenery DSP – but…don’t forget about them! And – I’ve mentioned before how very much I’m liking the Happy Thoughts set from the Jan – Jun 2021 Mini Catalog…
