Hey y’all – it’s Sunday, which means I’ve got another fun challenge for you from the Paper Players – Leanne came up with a really fun sketch for us this week. I know it’ll give your creative mojo a bump! So I hope you’ll come and play along with us!
If you were able to join me yesterday for my Facebook Live video, I appreciate you spending some of your weekend with me! If you weren’t able to watch the live version, but you’d like to see the replay on YouTube…here ’tis!
I decided to play along with the Global Design Projects theme challenge this week and so pulling out the Warm Hugs stamp set with the Warm Wraps dies bundled in seemed like the right way to go. A little Heartwarming Hugs DSP was the perfect finishing touch. Take a look-see:
And here’s our Paper Players sketch – I hope you’ll come and play along! 🙂
As I mentioned, the Global Design Project was a theme challenge this week!
I started with three coordinating pieces of Heartwarming Hugs DSP – 1″ wide strips, cut into 1 1/4″ and 1 3/4″ lengths. I adhered these to a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock with Liquid Glue.
Then I ran the entire panel thru the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine in the Dainty Diamonds 3 Embossing Folder.
On a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, I stamped the Warm Hugs sentiment in Mossy Meadow. Next to it, I stamped the little coffee mug in Crumb Cake and added the fill image in Real Red. A little Crumb Cake “steam” adds a final little touch!
I adhered the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and then wrapped a piece of Real Red 3/16″ Braided Trim around the panel. Then I popped my embossed art panel on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a piece of Whisper White, I stamped the mug three times in Crumb Cake and Real Red and cut them all out with the matching Warm Wraps die. They’re popped in place with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tied a bow around the Real Red trim with a shorter length of the trim – then added a Red Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the middle of all the mugs…and the card front was done!
For the inside, I stamped one of the circle images from Warm Hugs in Mossy Meadow on Crumb Cake – then added the mug image in the middle in Crumb Cake and Real Red. I added a Red Rhinestone Basic Jewel to this mug, too!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and into my Real Red card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got the Warm Hugs mug on the front…
…and a little more Heartwarming Hugs DSP on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! The Warm Hugs stamp set and bundled Warm Wraps Dies – along with the Heartwarming Hugs DSP – is part of the sweet Heartwarming Hugs Suite in the Aug – Dec 2020 Mini Catalog!
I hope you like!

I’ve got openings ONE MORE OPENING in my Online Host Club starting on 1 Dec – and new little bonus for my Customers – which will ALSO be one of the new benefits of being in an Online Host Club! Whoo-hoo!
What is an Online Host Club? Glad you asked!
An Online Host Club lets you get some of the benefits of being a host – without doing any of the WORK of being a host! And – it helps you build your crafting tool chest a little at a time. While earning FREE goodies!
A club consists of three folks doing two consecutive three-month terms. Each person commits to buying $50 before shipping and tax each month.
Here’s how it shakes out…this is just an example! As you can see, each member gets to host TWICE during the six months!!
At the end of the club, I let each member select a stamp set up to $25 that I send to them for free.
What are the other bennies of a Host Club?
- At least a $150.00 Workshop order during EACH of your host months!
- Which means you’ll have at least $15.00 of Stampin’ Rewards dollars to spend on the exclusive Host Stamp Sets, or any other current Stampin’ Up! product during your host months. Stampin’ Rewards are Stampin’ Up!-speak for “free money”!
- You’ll earn DOUBLE PEPPERMINTS on your Host Club Orders. Each $50 order earns 4 reward points, a $75 order earns you 6 reward points, etc. You’ll earn at least 24 reward points during your membership, meaning you’ll automatically earn at least ONE $40 Peppermint rewards gift! (Remember – when you gather up 16 Peppermints, you get to select a free reward gift valued up to $40!). You can get more info about my Punkin’ Heads Customer Rewards Program right here.
- You’ll receive a FREE monthly tutorial with 4-5 projects and access to all previous tutorials for the duration of the club. Right now, there are over FIFTY tutorials available only to Online Host Club members. That’s around TWO HUNDRED FIFTY not-seen-on-our-blogs projects for you to use as inspiration (and they ALL have all the card cuts and instructions!)
- Access to my Weekly Zoom The Craftroom online Zoom Party – where you can come craft and chat with me and other customers! YEP – THIS IS NEW!!
- FREE catalogs during your membership term
- FREE shipping in your TWO Host Months
- A FREE STAMP SET of your choice valued up to $25 at the end of each “term”, any current set (excluding host sets)!
- At the end of the full 6 months, you’ll get first dibs at signing up for the next 6 month term!
When you join the club – you’ll commit to the full six months – in two consecutive three-month increments. This is a great time to join a club – with the pending release of the 2021 Jan – Jun Mini Catalog and SALE-A-BRATION fixin’ to start in January, too!
Don’t delay – there are limited spaces available!
If you want to join us or if you have ANY questions about how it would work…please drop me a note at stamps-n-lingers@comcast.net!
Now – the new Customer Bonus!
So – I’m setting up a “ZOOM The Craftroom” time with me every week! Every Monday, I’ll be in my craft room doing…something!… and you can pop in and we’ll craft together and chat or…whatever! Very casual – no makeup required (I for sure won’t have any on!). It’s a great time to ask questions or get help with problems or issues you’re having! Or…we can just work on our projects together and yak.
Like the Ordering Gifts – you’ll receive the Zoom meeting link when you place an order of $50 or greater (before shipping and tax)! There’ll be a new link every month. All you do is download Zoom and then you can click on the link at the start of the Office Hours and you’ll be in! No account needed. 🙂

Finn Fan Fix
Friday was Finn’s semi-Annual Checkup.
Unlike most dogs I’ve known – Finn LOVES the vet.
He loves the vet – and the techs – and the receptionists – and the clients – and…well. Pretty much anything associated with the vet!
The new COVID protocol is….I wait in the exam room and he goes back to get his shots, blood draw, weight, and mani/pedi.
Then he comes back in and we wait for the vet to come tell us the findings!
You’ll be glad to know that his eyes are bright and his teeth good. Heart – lungs – belly…all there. And clear and strong and soft (you decide which is which but…it’s all good!). Got his bloodwork back on Saturday and…all normal!
He studied good for this test! Good boy, Finn – well done!!
Next up? Get rid of that SMELL! 😳😳
TTFN
M
If you figure out how to get rid of that smell, please let me know! Mine will come home from the groomer smelling all clean and powdery, go outside to potty one time and come in smelling “doggy”! GEEZZZ!!! Absolutely love the card design!
“Doggy” I can handle! It’s the….DEAD THING odor that’s too much! I mean…seriously TOO much! Thanks, Debra! 🙂
Such a cute card! Love the layout and the colors are perfect! Yay for a good visit at the vet! Glad that he studied well and passed his tests. 😉
Yep – he’s a good student! Thanks much, Amy! 🙂
This is such a cute card, Mary. I love everything about it. LeAnne did a great job coming up with the design. I hope I have time to play. I’m so happy to hear that everything is right with Finn except for the Eau d’stink he decided to wear.
Yep – the Eau d’stink isn’t treatable at the vet! LOL! Thanks so much, Karen! 🙂
Great card, love your paper choices. None of my critters are fans of going to the vet. No way would they venture off by themselves to get checked out. So glad that Finn loves everyone and got a clean bill of health.
He loves them so much – and they love him right back. So there’s a lot of hugging and Aussie grinning and wiggle butt-ing! Thanks, Allisa! 🙂
Beautiful card, and I love the envelope front! Glad the vet visit was good. I have never known a dog, regardless of pedigree, that could pass up a roll in whatever they find dead! I have never been able to understand it. Better get that bath in before it gets too cold.
ope – the stinkier the better! 🙄 Thank you, Julie! 🙂
Awesome choices for paper…such a pretty card!!
Thanks much, Laurie! 🙂
I absolutely adore this card, Mary! What a wonderful way to showcase this paper! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you, Ann! Appreciate you coming by! 🙂
I love the festive colour combo and little coffee cup accents Mary – such a great way to step up the layout and a fabulous showcase of those gorgeous papers. Beautiful!
Thank you so much, Joanne! Appreciate the kind words!
That dsp sure has the right name. It gives your card a warm and cozy feel, along with the cute coffee cups and punny sentiment! Finn is a doll, I can see why all the vet techs give him lots of love and hugs LOL! I would too, if I had a chance! So glad his results were all positive.
Thanks, Stef – he’s exactly as cuddly and sweet as he looks in the pics – we are VERY blessed to have him in our lives! Appreciate you coming by! 🙂
Fabulous mix of patterns and I love the trio of mugs. Get out the cocoa, the marshmallows and that super cozy warm blanket (I’ll turn up the a/c here, I really need to move…LOL!) because this is one super-cozy card!
Warm isn’t a BAD thing! I want 69 degrees year round….where is THAT place?? LOL. Thanks very much, Anne Marie! 🙂
Mary, the mixture of patterns works beautifully and I love your perfectly placed cups. Really does remind me of settling down with a warm blankie, a good cup of tea and a great book! Fabulous take on the challenge
hugs
jaydee
Thanks, JayDee! I appreciate that! 🙂
