Stampin’ Up! Joy To The World October Paper Pumpkin Kit

Happy happy Hawwmp Day, y’all!  Hope your week is going well!  My days are flying by – we’ve got our Stampin’ Up! OnStage At Home event the first weekend in November (and TWELVE of my CNCK team are attending – virtually! – with me!) and then the weekend after that is our friend’s wedding!  We’ve got a cool house rented on Pawley’s Island – right on the beach!  🙂  Busy days ahead and then we’re gonna blink and…CHRISTMAS!!

Speaking of Christmas, my October Joy To The World Paper Pumpkin kit arrived last weekend and I put the eight gorgeous Christmas cards together right quick last night!  This kit is really beautiful – and even left me some extra pieces to make a bonus goodie!  Check out these beauties:

Like all Paper Pumpkin kits – this one included an exclusive stamp set and an Ink Spot (in Just Jade!).  I love this Joy To The World set – and it’s even got an inside sentiment!

The kit makes eight cards – four each of 2 designs- all with Crumb Cake/Gold Foil card bases – and eight envelopes with pretty liners!

One of the fun – included! – pieces is a spool of Cherry Cobbler Linen Thread.  Yes, please! 🙂

And – this is a “global” kit, so – while the sentiments in the stamp set are all in English for us, the included gold foil die cuts are in English, French and German!  And SU! even includes a “translation”!  You get two of each sentiment!

The colors in the set – Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Just Jade, Soft Sea Foam – are so beautiful – and are perfect with all the subtle gold touches!

I used my Stamparatus to make short work out of stamping the inside sentiment in all eight cards – plus the pretty wreath, stamped in Just Jade, with Cherry Cobbler berries!

I also added the wreath to the fronts of all the envelopes…

…but I didn’t have to do a thing on the back – each envelope is lined with a script-strewn Cherry Cobbler DSP!

Once I had all the cards and envelopes done – I had a few die cuts, sentiments and Linen Thread leftover, so…I made a gift box for my cards!

I embossed a piece of Whisper White card stock in the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder and matted it on Just Jade.  This is adhered with Liquid Glue to the top of my gift box.  I made the bottom of the box from Crumb Cake and the lid in Early Espresso! I adhered the die cuts with Liquid Glue and Dimensionals – and added a double bow with a Glue Dot!

So – quick like a bunny – I had a gift all ready to go!  We’ll make a box in a future video, I promise!

In case you’d like to see how this kit goes together, here’s the reveal on YouTube! 🙂

PAPER PUMPKIN PAST KITS AND REFILLS AVAILABLE AGAIN SOON!

While constructing the new online store, Stampin’ Up! was required to temporarily suspend the offering of past kits and refills from Paper Pumpkin.  The online store functionality that allows them to offer these products is nearly ready to launch.  Paper Pumpkin Past Kits and Refills will be available once again beginning 26 October!!

On 26 October, available products will include the September Refills and October Refills!  Yay!  The cute fall treat boxes and the Christmas card kit refills will be there!  These products will only be available while supplies last and require a Paper Pumpkin subscription to order.

Once the Paper Pumpkin Past Kits and Refills have been made available again, Stampin’ Up! will continue to release new past kit and refill products each month as inventory and demand allow.  If you’re interested in purchasing these products, they’re typically released—if available—on the 4th Monday of each month.  So keep checking the online store for more refills and past kits!

  1. Love this kit! Your card made with the leftovers is awesome too!! I do spot the intruder off in the distance…good thing for the watchdog always being on high alert. You never know when a rogue deer might attack… 😉

    • stampsnlingers

They’re notorious for charging when unsuspecting humans – or guard dogs!! – aren’t expecting it! LOL! Thanks, Amy! 🙂

  2. I’m still kicking myself for not ordering this one so I’m eagerly awaiting October 26! You made such beautiful cards with it and the gift box is lovely. We are always thrilled to have deer passing through the river here. Does Finn bark at them or just watch?

    • stampsnlingers

He sometimes barks – from the house especially if they’re right behind the house. Not so much when they’re further away. He wants them out of his personal bubble! Thanks, Karen! 🙂

  3. He is so fierce he would probably go make friends with it.
Pretty bunch of cards. And a gorgeous box!

    • stampsnlingers

Yeah – he really just wants to see what they are! 🙂 Thanks, Julie! 🙂

  4. Sue Floyd

    Hi Mary!
Yes, I saw the deer. It inspired me but I don’t have the stamp & punch. Case your photo using snowfront stamp set & the dog punch. Are you up for the challenge….it may prompt me to get both items!
    I’ll be watching for it:)
    Sue

    • stampsnlingers

Hmmmm. Interesting challenge, indeed! Might have to make that card, Sue! Thanks! 🙂
