Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane is Well Written!

Good morning, y’all!  I LOVE coming to you the morning after a video WITHOUT knowing I have to be working!  Sunday still looms ahead as “me” time!  Whoo-hooo!

I enjoyed our time last night – and if you were able to join us – thanks so much for spending part of your weekend with me!   If not, but you’d like to peruse the replay, here ’tis!

My card uses three different sets – the new Daisy Lane (one of my fave new goodies from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog), the Well Said stamp set and coordinating Well Written dies (carrying over from the Occasions Catalog) and a bit of Mosaic Mood DSP from the new catty.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one comes from the sketch side of this week’s FUSION challenge!

I started with some paper from the new Mosaic Mood DSP – available 4 June – and matted it on Early Espresso for the card front.

The sentiment panel is a piece of Very Vanilla, also matted on Early Espresso and adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I stamped six of the smaller daisies from the new Daisy Lane set in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla.  I cut three of them out with a square Stitched Shapes Framelits die.  The other three – I colored with my Crushed Curry Watercolor Pencil and…fussy cut.  NEXT week – I’d color the petals and then PUNCH THEM OUT with the new Medium Daisy Punch!  And that’s what YOU should do, too!

I popped the squares onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added the cut flowers with Liquid Glue.  Then I added a medium Gold Faceted Gem to their centers.

I stamped two words from Well Said in Crushed Curry on Very Vanilla, snipped them with my Paper Snips and edged them with an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker.  I also cut a Well Written sentiment in Early Espresso.

I adhered the die cut to the card front with Liquid Glue and popped the two snipped words on with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  And that was it for the card front!

On the inside, I added a second lovely flower from Daisy Lane in Early Espresso across the bottom of a Very Vanilla panel.  I colored some of the petals – not all – and the centers with the Crushed Curry Watercolor Pencil.  Then I brushed Clear Wink of Stella over the centers.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to an Early Espresso mat and into my Crushed Curry card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got more of the Daisy Lane flowers across the front…

…and more of the Mosaic Mood DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  You guys!  I LOVE this Daisy Lane stamp set – and so will you!!  And I’m going to lvoe it even MORE after Tuesday when I can order the coordinating Medium Daisy Punch and get rid of fussy cutting for this set!  And…SO WILL YOU!  Mark your calendar!  There’s a lot of folks waiting for this set, I promise!  Ordering opens on 4 June at 1200 MOUNTAIN time!  So…start warming up your ordering fingers!  I hope you like! 🙂

When the Man and I call them for dinner…they respond with instant obedience.

Cuz THEY know that HE is the boss-of-them! 😉

Well.  THIS one – the Mom – she knows who is REALLY in charge!

They do a little milling around until I can get the gate open…

and catch the baby (if I don’t she goes off gallivanting – which she’s done since she was 8 hours old!!).

…and then it’s into their bedrooms!  Dinner – with chopped up carrots, a comfy bed to relax in, individual fans overhead (in addition to the giant one in the aisle), a full hay bag and bucket of water.  A quick spritz with some fly spray and a peppermint for desert.

Nary a bridle or saddle in sight.

They have a pretty rough life… 😉
