Stampin’ Up! Mother’s Day Tea Time Together – and a Blog Candy Winner!

Happy happy Hawwwwwmmmmp Day!!  I hope wherever you are you are warm.  And that this ridiculous cold is getting ready to get gone.  Cuz…no.  That’s no bueno!

My card for today uses the Tea Together stamp set from the 2019 Occasions Catalog, paired with the Tea Time Framelits in the 2019 Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  THAT one is something you can get for FREE right now with a $100 purchase (before shipping and tax).  Take a look-see:

And the colors hail from the Sunday Stamps challenge.

I started with a panel of Whisper White that I embossed in the Lace Dynamic TIEF and matted on Flirty Flamingo for the card front.

To make the art, I stamped the big tea pot from the Tea Together stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Whisper White.  Using my Stamparatus and some sticky-note masks, I stamped the small rose image from Tea Together in Tuxedo Black across the tea pot.  Then I cut it out with the matching die from the Tea Time Framelits.

I colored the flowers with my Light and Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends – and the Dark Soft Sea Foam Blend for the leaves and stems.  Then I used a Blender Pen and ink from the lid of my Flirty Flamingo ink pad to create “shadows” around the flowers.

I pulled out the new Doily Builder Thinlits and cut a Whisper White doily.  And I cut a piece of Garden Impressions 6″ x 6″ DSP with a Rectangle Stitched Framelits die.

I adhered the Garden Impressions panel directly to the card front with Liquid Glue.  Next up is the tea pot – I used Liquid Glue, with a couple of pieces of Stampin’ Dimensional under the handle to support it.

With Glue Dots, I adhered a length of Whisper White 5/8″ Flax Ribbon across the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from Tea Together in Melon Mambo ink, cut it out with the oval die from the Wonderful Floral Framelits and popped it on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish off, I stamped more flowers from Tea Together in Tuxedo Black on Whisper White.  I cut them with their matching dies in the Tea Time Framelits.  Then I colored them with Light and Dark Poppy Parade and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends, plus the Dark Soft Sea Foam for the stems.

I adhered the rose buds to the sentiment with Liquid Glue and popped the large flower on with a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I added a Share What You Love Artisan Pearl and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Tea Together in Melon Mambo, plus a couple more roses in the corner of a Whisper White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Flirty Flamingo mat and into my Melon Mambo card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Tea Together rose buds on the front…

…and more Garden Impressions DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  You guys – the Tea Together stamp set is so pretty – and just perfect for Mother’s Day!  And the matching Tea Time Framelits makes it super quick and easy to get those beautiful images all cut out and ready to use!  I hope you like!
