Happy Happy HAWWWMP Day!! Did y’all have fun ordering from the new catalog yestedray!? It’s a darned good one – with so many cool new goodies it’s a little crazy. How DO they keep coming up with such awesome stamp sets and papers and fun stuff?!?
I don’t know how they do it – but I’m SURE glad that they do.
And that I get a discount, cuzzzzzzz…. I NEED it!
My card today uses a new set for me – the fun Press On stamp set. If you – or someone you know! – loves coffee, this is a stamp set you need in your tool box. Take a look-see:

This one was built for the sketch side of the FUSION challenge this week but…I missed the deadline! 🙁

I started with some Very Vanilla card stock and I stamped the coffee cups from the Press On set in Early Espresso ink (seemed appropriate! ). To make the “reversed” smaller mug – I stamped the image on a piece of acetate (from my old Stamp-A-Ma-Jig) then I quickly pressed the card stock on top. When I picked it up – I had the reversed image!

I fussy cut the three cups with my Paper Snips. I also stamped the images again on two different designs from the Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP – and snipped the coffee cup cozies. These are adhered to “their” mugs with Liquid Glue.
I matted a piece of Very Vanilla on Cajun Craze for the card front, then matted a strip of Mint Macaron paper from Gilded Autumn, also on Cajun Craze. I adhered the strip to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used Glue Dots to wrap a length of 3/8″ Embroidered Ribbon around the strip.
On another piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped a sentiment from Press On in Cajun Craze and cut it with a Stitched So Sweetly rectangle die. I adhered it over the ribbon with Liquid Glue.

I laid out my cups on the card front – tucking the smaller cups under the sentiment. With all the cups in place, I stamped the “steam” sentiment from Press On in Early Espresso ink.
I adhered the small cups with Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals – and the large middle cup with Dimensionals.

At that point, I decided I needed a “lid” – so I stamped the image again in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla and fussy cut just the lid. I popped it onto the middle cup with Stampin’ Dimensionals – and the card front was done!
On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Press On in Cajun Craze on a Very Vanilla panel. Across the bottom I adhered a Cajun Craze-matted stip of Gilded Autumn DSP.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Cajun Craze mat and into my Mint Macaron card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got some Cajun Craze hearts and Early Espresso coffee beans on the front…

…and more of the Gilded Autumn DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila! Now – Press On might have been another one of those “fly-over” sets for you – but it shouldn’t be! It’s super cute (I LOVE the sentiment-in-steam image!!) and has some really great sentiments!

I hope you like – and will add this one to your list of gotta-get products!
