Stampin’ Up! Textured Woven Notes Sneak Peek Thank You Card with Video

Good morning and happy Super Bowl Sunday!  Are you getting your snacks ready?  Snacks are mandatory, I’m pretty sure!!

So – I got my Demonstrator Pre-Order (seriously – this is like the best perk of being a demonstrator.  Although that 20% discount doesn’t hurt!) of the new March 2025 Online Exclusives.  I was instantly in love with the new Botanical Textures Suite and so…as I hinted at during my unboxing video – that’s what I reached for first! I used the Textured Notes bundle, some Woven Textures DSP (LOVE this paper!) and the Mini Corrrugated 3D Embossing Folder to make a beautiful Thank You card!  Take a look-see:

I started by adhering a panel of the Woven Textures DSP to the front of a Pecan Pie card base using Liquid Glue!  This pack of paper is gorgeous – you get 12 sheets of paper – 3 each of 4 double-sided designs – all wonderfully textured in Pecan Pie, Gray Granite, Basic Beige and Early Espresso!  It’s one of TWO beautiful packs of DSP in the Suite! 🙂

I used the next-to-largest die in the new Textured Notes die set to cut out a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock.  These rectangle dies are simply gorgeous!

Then I embossed it in the new Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder (this AMAZEBALLS new folder is ALSO new on 4 March!) and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using the next smallest die in the set, I cut out a piece of Basic White cardstock.

In Basic Beige ink, I stamped the rattan round image from the Textured Notes set on the Basic White panel.  Then I stamped the large leaf in Mossy Meadow and the smaller leaf – twice! – in Old Olive ink.

I adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a MODIFIED double-loop Linen Thread bow – this one wraps TWICE around four fingers and TWICE around two fingers (making it like a “half Double-Loop Bow) – and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.  See the basics on making this bow right here!

On another design of the Woven Textures DSP – it looks like linen! – I stamped the Textured Notes sentiment in Mossy Meadow.  Then I cut it out with the small Textured Notes rectangle die.

Using double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals I adhered the sentiment to the panel over the bow.

I added some new Neutral Matte Dots – these are SO pretty! – in Pecan Pie and the card front was done!  Easy!

On the inside, I used the largest die in the Textured Notes set to cut out another piece of the linen-look Woven Textures DSP.  I stamped a second sentiment from the set in Mossy Meadow and then, in the bottom corner, I stamped the smaller leaf image twice in Old Olive ink.  Then I added another Neutral Matte Dot (note to self – order more of these!!).

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Pecan Pie card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Textured Notes leaves in Old Olive on the front…

…and more Woven Textures DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Okay – there’s a REASON this is my favorite new Online Exclusive!  I LOVE all the textures in the Woven Textures DSP and the foliage and sentiments in the Textured Notes stamp set are gorgeous.  And the dies.  THE DIES!  Oh. My. Goodness!  All of them cut a beautiful – different! – organic edge – wicker, bamboo, rattan….and they’re just a great set of nesting rectangles!!  I can’t WAIT for you to be able to get them for yourself!
