Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all! How goes the week – and the DSP and cardstock sale?! I know a bunch of you are taking advantage of that AND of my Embellishment Ordering Special! Yeah!!
Today’s card is the result of a question on my Monday Zoom the Craftroom. One of my friends wondered how a Hot Foiled image would do if it was dry embossed. Naturally, I figured the best answer was to…do one! So – I hot foiled a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock with the Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Die and then embossed it in the Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder (a new goody available to customers on 1 Sept!). It worked – perfectly! I hated to waste the panel, though – so…I pulled out the All Aflutter bundle and the Spotlight on Nature dies and made a card! Take a look-see:
To begin, I used the Stampin’ Hot Foil System and the Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Die to foil a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Calypso Coral cardstock in Gold Hot Foil.
When everything was good and cool and “set” – I ran it thru the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine in the new Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder (avail 1 Sept).
I matted the panel on Crisp Cantaloupe to make the card front.
Using the next-to-largest petal-edged Spotlight on Nature die, I cut out a Crisp Cantaloupe circle and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped an All Aflutter sentiment in Early Espresso ink and then cut it out with the next-to-largest dash-edged Spotlight on Nature die.
I put Stampin’ Seal on the back of the die cut and used it to adhere a loop-d-loop of new Calypso Coral Copper Border 3/8″ Ribbon (also new in the Sept-Dec 2026 Catalog and available on 1 Sept).
I adhered the circle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the All Aflutter butterflies in Cajun Craze ink and cut them out with the All Aflutter Punch. Using a Light Golden Glow Stampin’ Blend – I colored the little circles on the wings.
I adhered the butterflies with Liquid Glue and then added some new Gold Adhesive-backed Dots (available 1 Sept) and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped an All Aflutter sentiment in Early Espresso ink. Then I added the butterflies – two in one corner and one in the opposite corner – in Cajun Craze ink and added the Golden Glow Stampin’ Blend color to the little wing-dots.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Cajun Craze card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got a couple of All Aflutter butterflies on the front…
…and one on the envelope flap, too!
Et Voila! The All Aflutter stamp set is so sweet – and I do love a punch bundle, don’t you!? And those butterflies are so pretty fluttering over the Rustic Check 3D Embossed card front with the Hot Foiled Garden Silhouette!

2026 BACK TO SCHOOL SALES TAX HOLIDAYS!
Thirteen states – plus Puerto Rico! – will have Sales Tax Holidays for school supplies in July and August and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states! According to state statutes, “items normally used by students in a standard classroom for educational purposes” are eligible. And – this includes select Stampin’ Up! products! BOOM!
The states with upcoming tax holidays are: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts**, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio**, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Puerto Rico.
