Happy Sunday, y’all! Hope your weekend is going well and you’re staying cool AND out of the SMOKE! That’s some awful stuff! 🙁
My card today is a mix of the old and the new – the wunnermus Nature’s Symphony bundle and Nature Walk DSP – all paired up with the new Botanical Glow and Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies! I used it all to make a pretty thank you card. Take a look-see:
The layout was from this week’s Try a Sketch on Tuesday challenge.
I started with two 3 3/4″ x 5″ panels of Nature Walk DSP. Using a pencil – I sketched a line from the 1″ point on both short ends to the 2 1/2″ mark on the right hand long side.
Then I used the Paper Trimmer to cut off the corners. I kept them – I can make a second card using them!
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the cut up panel to the second 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Nature Walk DSP.
Using the Stampin’ Hot Foil System and the Botanical Glow Hot Foil Die, I added the big leaves to the card front in Gold Stampin’ Foil. Then I matted the panel on a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock with Liquid Glue.
I matted the card front a second time – this time with Stampin’ Dimensionals – on the light side of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Crumb Cake Two-tone Cardstock.
I used the big leaf die from the Nature’s Symphony die set to cut out a leaf from Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper and one from the light side of the Crumb Cake Two-tone Cardstock. I adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue – putting the metallic die cut down first.
I cut out two small Nature’s Symphony leaves from Pretty Peacock cardstock and adhered them with Liquid Glue.
Using Linen Thread, I tied a double-loop Linen Thread bow and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
Using the Stampin’ Hot Foil System and a Classic Greetings Hot Foil Die, I foiled a sentiment in gold onto a piece of Pretty Peacock Nature Walk DSP.
I used the coordinating die from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Die to cut out the sentiment.
Using double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered the sentiment over the bow.
I added seven coppery Adhesive-backed Metallic Gems and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from Nature’s Symphony on the light side of a Crumb Cake Two-tone Cardstock panel in Pretty Peacock ink. In the corner, I stamped the big leaf image from the stamp set twice (without re-inking) in Crumb Cake ink.
I adhered the panel to the inside of my Pecan Pie card base, adhered the card front with Liquid Glue and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Nature’s Symphony leaf stamped twice (without re-inking) in Crumb Cake on the front…
…and more Nature Walk DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well – Nature’s Symphony is an oldie- but-goodie! It’s been one of my fave bundles since it first came out and I was tickled when it appeared – still as a bundle for 10% savings! – in the May-Aug 2026 Catalog! The addition of some gold hot foiling – from the Botanical Glow Hot Foil Dies AND the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Bundle (sadly – this is backordered right now but is expected back early in August!) – bring an elegant touch to the organic and vintage-y Nature Walk DSP!

2026 BACK TO SCHOOL SALES TAX HOLIDAYS!
