Good morning! Hope you had a wonderful weekend – and that the week looks to be a good one! This is the last few days of June and I hope they’ll be quiet ones for you!
In the spirit of being ahead of the game this year, I’ve got a Christmas card for you today! It’s got a sneak peek of the new A Stitched Season DSP and the Merriest Tags bundle – both new prodicts in the July Online Exclusives – and available in just a couple days on 1 July! Take a look-see:
The layout for this card was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.

I started by embossing the top portion of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock in the candy-canes folder in the Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders (available on 1 July).
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered a 2 1/2″ wide strip of A Stitched Season DSP on the bottom of the panel.
I used my Paper Trimmer to cut the panel down to 3 3/4″ x 5″.
I wrapped lengths of new Real Red 1/4″ Stitched Ribbon (coming on 1 July) across the panel – to look like gift wrapping – and adhered them on the back with Mini Glue Dots.
Then I matted the panel on a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Golden Glow cardstock and again on a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Real Red cardstock using Liquid Glue.
I inked the round tag image on the three-tag stamp from the new Merriest Tags set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Then, I used a Sticky Note to cover the image and inked the other images with Real Red ink. Then I stamped them on a piece of Basic White cardstock.
Using the die in the bundled set, I cut out the tags.
I colored the foliage on the round tag with the Light Golden Glow, Light Real Red and Light Peaceful Pine Stampin’ Blends. Then I stamped the Merriest Tags sentiment in Peaceful Pine ink inside the narrow tag.
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the two tags together and then adhered them to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added a large Real Red & White Adhesive-backed Peppermints to the hole in the tags. I tied a small bow from the Real Red 1/4″ Stitched Ribbon and adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot. Then I added a few more of the Real Red & White Adhesive-backed Peppermints and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second Merriest Tags sentiment in Peaceful Pine on a Basic White panel. I stamped the holly bough in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored it with the Light Real Red and Light Peaceful Pine Stampin’ Blends.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Thick Basic White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Merriest Tags holly bough on the front…
…and more A Stitched Season DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! What cute things can be made with the new Merriest Tags bundle!! Stamp three and die cut three all at once! Then decorate them as you will – even turn them into a Christmas gift! I love the various designs in the new A Stitched Season DSP, too – quilt-y on one side and pretty plaids and dots and all sorts of patterns on the other!!

Basic White Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (card front – trimmed down to 3 3/4″ x 5″); 4″ x 5 1/4″ (inner liner)
