Good morning, y’all It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a theme challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
We’ve got a pretty new stamp set coming on 5 May in the May 2026 Online Exclusives – it’s called Natural Artistry. It’s a stand-alone set – no dies, no suite – just…gorgeous stamped images and a few really nice sentiments. I used it – and the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder – to make today’s pretty thank you card. Take a look-see:
And – our challenge this week really WAS a challenge for me – it’s just not my wheelhouse!!
This one is quick and easy so…buckle up!
I started by embossing a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock in the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder and adhering it to a piece of Golden Glow cardstock (which you can get on 5 May) for the card front.
On a smaller piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the pretty peacock from the Natural Artistry set in Secret Sea ink.
I also stamped one of the branch images from the set next to the peacock.
Using my Light Golden Glow Stampin’ Blend (available on 5 May), and the Light Pretty Peacock and Dark Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends, I colored the images!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Golden Glow mat and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a 5/8″ x 2 1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a Natural Artistry sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink – and snipped an angle in the left end.
I layered the sentiment on a 5/8″ x 2 5/8″ piece of Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Pearlized Specialty Paper (available on 5 May in the May-Aug 2026 Catalog) using Liquid Glue.
Then I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Liquid Glue and a Stampin’ Dimensional.
I added some Barely Blush 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies (LOVE these and so will you when you get them on 5 May!) and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped another sentiment from Natural Artistry in Pretty Peacock ink on a Basic White panel. In the corner, I stamped the branch in Secret Sea ink and colored it with the Light Pretty Peacock and Dark Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Pretty Peacock card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Natural Artistry branch on the front…
…and a second branch from the set on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! This is for SURE a set you might be tempted to overlook when the May Online Exclusives go live on the 5th, but…please don’t! The Natural Artistry set has beautiful, organic (perfectly shaded!) images – the peacock, a pretty flower, a sea horse and several leafy branches – plus several pretty sentiments for thank you, friendship and encouragement! It’s a great one to have on your shelf!
