Stampin’ UP! Seasonal Patterned Tags Christmas Card with Video

Happy Sunday, y’all!  Hope your weekend is going well!

My card today is a clean and easy Christmas card featuring two cool stand-alone sets from the Sep – Dec 2025 Mini Catalog.  The Seasonal Tags set – with it’s pretty mix-and-match sentiments and sweet images gets a little help from the Patterned Tags die set.  Take a look-see:

I was inspired by the Try A Sketch on Tuesday layout for this card.

I started by stamping two sentiment words from the Seasonal Tags set in Cherry Cobbler ink at the bottom of a Very Vanilla panel.  Then I matted the panel on Pecan Pie cardstock for the card front.

I cut out some tag elements using the Patterned Tags dies.

– Two pine-bough detailed tags in Mossy Meadow.

– Two solid tags in Pecan Pie and one in Very Vanilla.

– The bow pieces from Pecan Pie (x2) and Cherry Cobbler.

Using Liquid Glue, I assembled the bows – the die cuts out three pieces at a time and they go together to make these cute bows – I love them!

True Confessions time.  So…all thru making my sample card – I didn’t acknowledge in my head that the bow has THREE pieces – the loops – the loops and tails – and a little tiny center piece.  I realized that that last little piece was meant to be used as I was cutting for the video – which is why none of the photos in this post show it.  But…THIS photo DOES show it – and it makes a difference so…be sure to keep track of it and use it, okay!?

I assembled the Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie tags – using Liquid Glue to adhere them together – and then used a little more Liquid Glue to adhere the Pecan Pie bows at the top of each tag.

I adhered them to the card front – slightly staggered – with Liquid Glue.

On the Very Vanilla tag, I stamped the small pine bough from Seasonal Tags twice in Mossy Meadow ink. Using the Light Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend, I colored the branches.

Then I stamped the little dots-trio image from the set a few times in Cherry Cobbler.

I adhered its Cherry Cobbler bow with Liquid Glue and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I added some Cherry Cobbler Faceted Snowflakes and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped the Seasonal Tags pine bough in Mossy Meadow ink a couple times at the top of a Very Vanilla panel.  Then I colored the branches with the Light Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend and stamped the little ‘berries” in Cherry Cobbler.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Seasonal Tags pine boughs and little dots (berries) on the front…

…and again on the envelope flap.

Et Voila! It’s true that these two sets do not “go” together per se but…boy do they WORK together like peanut butter works with jelly!  I love that I can mix and match the sentiments (and there’s even “To:” and “From:”) in Seasonal Tags and then I can make different (and beautiful!) tags with the Patterned Tags set! Bring on gift-giving season! 🙂

Finn Fan Fix

You can’t prove I’m too big to be a lap-dog cuz I have proof that I AM!

It’s taken him a few tries to make it up here – without instantly closing the foot-rest.

Totally.  Worth it.

Little bitty is not impressed. 🙂

Such a pretty card! Love the layered tags and the sentiment is so pretty! Poor Finn…he’s a small dog trapped in that annoying big dog body! He can fit anywhere that she does…see! 😂

      Yup – once there’s a picture…. it’s real! Thanks, Amy! 🙂
