Stampin’ Up! Coneflowers & Rustic Centerpiece Sneak Peek Fun Fold Thanks with Video Tutorial

Good morning and happy Sunday!  Just a note – today’s the last day of the Birthday Week Double Peppermints Ordering Special!  Don’t miss out! 🙂

My card today is a cool fun fold – it’s called a Side Panel Tower Card – and it’s super easy!  Which means you can spend your time decorating it.  I’ve done that with the brand new – available on 1 July 2025! – Online Exclusive Rustic Centerpiece stamp set.  There’s also some beautiful Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ DSP and some elements from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set – both available right now!  Take a look-see:

I started with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/4″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock that I scored at 1″, 2″, 3″ and 4″ on the long side.  I folded all the score lines in the same direction (“in”).

I used Liquid Glue to adhere three strips of Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ DSP on the three narrow panels closest to the 4″ score line.  Then, I used Tear and Tape on the outside small panel to create the tower – checking the video is the best way to see that.  Unless you WANT a three paragraph description that’ll STILL have you scratching your head and thinking it’s hard?!

And I added another Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ DSP panel to the back of the card with Liquid Glue.

For the side panel – I scored a 4″ x 4 1/2″ piece of Mossy Meadow at 1/2″ and 1 1/2″ on the long side.  Again – I folded both score lines in the same direction.

I embossed a piece of Basic Beige cardstock in the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder – I turned it so that the corrugation is on a diagonal – then cut it down to 2 7/8″ x 3 7/8″.  I adhered that to the larger front section of the side panel piece.

I put Liquid Glue on the 1/2″ panel and used it to adhere the panel to the card base.  Again – checking the video is the best way to see THIS step.

Then I folded the side panel closed and used Liquid Glue to adhere it to the front of the tower portion of the card.

On a piece of Basic Beige cardstock, I stamped the Rustic Centerpiece image in Pecan Pie ink.  Then I cut it out using Paper Snips.

Don’t be scared – you can do this!

Then I colored the image with Watercolor Pencils.

– Metal can – Basic Gray

– Leaves – Old Olive

– Berries – Calypso Coral

– Sunflowers – Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie

– Apples – Real Red

– Wood “plate” – Pecan Pie and Early Espresso

I adhered the colored image to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using two lengths of Linen Thread, I tied a simple bow and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

I stamped the Coneflower Celebrations sentiment in Calypso Coral on a piece of Basic Beige cardstock and cut it out with the small Stylish Shapes banner die.

Then I adhered it over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added three Tiny Bee Trinkets with Liquid Glue and two Pecan Pie Neutral Matte Dots and the card was done!

For the back, I stamped the large flower from Coneflower Celebrations in Pecan Pie ink in the corner of a Basic Beige panel.  I colored it with the Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Pecan Pie Watercolor Pencils. I stamped a Coneflower Celebrations sentiment in Calypso Coral ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel on the back of the card and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Coneflower Celebrations flower on the front…

…and more Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Oh – I don’t know what I love most about this card!  Is it the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing?  The wunnermus always-a-fave Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ DSP!?  All of those are excellent – but…the Rustic Centerpiece image is…WOWZA!  SO worth cutting it out, don’t you think!?  I know you’re excited to get this one on 1 July!  And – this fun fold is Da Bomb!!  So easy – and yet SOO stinkin’ cool!! You can get the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set right now!

I hope you like!
