Stamps-N-Lingers – A Quick Tour of My Craft Room!

Good morning, y’all, on this Memorial Day, 2025!  I hope you have plans to spend some time with family and friends today – maybe burn a hot dog or two (and make some s’mores!).  But – while you’re doing THAT – please take a moment to remember WHY you have a day off today.  Send up a prayer for all those who bought our freedom and way of life with their blood.   That’s a debt we can never repay.

Now – I spent my weekend – not today, cuz I got it done! – getting my craft room in order.  And – not gonna lie…it was a bit of a chore!  I had stuff…EVERYwhere!  Piles on piles on piles.  I was shoving stuff aside to find a little flat place to make a card.

That doesn’t really work for me, y’all!  It was making me…whack-a-doo!  So – I finally pulled up my big girl knickers and…dove in.  And – I thought…it’s been a minute since I gave you guys a look at it so…here we go!  Figured I’d better do it before it STOPPED looking so neat and tidy!  😂  And no – I totally didn’t take a “before” picture.  It prolly woulda broke my camera!

Being a died-in-the-wool Stamp-N-Storage girl – there’s a LOT of it!

The main piece – my fave thing, really! – is my Super Combo Holder.  It sits right in front of me – and holds my array of Ott Lights!  Which I DO turn on when I’m working!  Duh!

Part of the plan was to get the OLD 2023-2025 In Colors OUT and re-arrange my “rainbow” to accommodate the NEW 2025-2027 In Colors!  This holder is the bomb – all my Ink Pads, Refills, Stampin’ Write Markers AND Stampin’ Blends all right together and right where I can get them easy!

I also pulled all the going-away Designer Series Papers and re-arranged my Cabinet Drawers – I used them for all my DSP – including the 6″ x 6″ papers!

I labeled each drawer – using one color (dark purple) for papers in the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog and a DIFFERENT color (light green) for the papers that are Online Exclusives.

No – I am NOT hyper-organized – it just…helps me keep track of what’s what and where what is! 🙂

You can see I have a few – okay – 7! – of the big metal tool boxes (from Home Depot, not Stamp-N-Storage!) – they’re all heavy duty with wood tops and wheels – and that center one is plugged into the wall so I can have a light on my cutter and Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine!

I do LOVE those tool boxes – they’re super stable and a really good height for cutting and embossing.  And stout enough to handle the large amounts of weight on them!

My 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock – in the same rainbow order as my ink pads.  Each of the slots has a Paper Sleeve – labeled for its color – so that I can hang on to scraps.

I use Creative Crates Storage Pockets and Magnet Cards (all are 6″ x 7″ ) for all my die sets.

And I not-too-long-ago started using the pockets and crates for my Embellishments, too!

I have my completed cards in the Large Multi-Level Card Holder – near my photo “station” and “mailing center”!  😂

So – there it is!  I can finally BREATHE again, y’all!  It feels so good to have everything sorted and organized and put away where it belongs!  It makes it so I can actually BE creative!  Whoo-hoo!

I mean – it may not STAY that way for as long as I’d LIKE it to, but… 🤷‍♀️

And – not for nothing – if you’re needing a bit of a refresh in YOUR craft room…today’s the last day for Stamp-N-Storage’s Memorial Day Sale!

Happy stamping and organizing!

We made a golf-cart trip up to the mailbox and back today.

Yup – all FOUR of us on the golf-cart.

See him??

He was enjoying the ride – but Addy was LOVING it!

She was just laughing and laughing!  Had the wind in her hair and was loving life!

Dear Mary and Wayne: Have a blessed Memorial Day. 🇱🇷

  3. Dolores

Why oh why do those craft rooms have to get so messy right away. Yours looks wonderful. Love your tool boxes for storage, I think they would be awesome for punches since those do get heavy. Now I better go and clean up my work space too before I loose some dies.

It’s SOOO easy to loose the little buggers – I have two really little ones that are currently AWOL – hoping they show up when (and where!) I least expect them! Thanks so much, Dolores! 🙂

Hello Friends! What a wonderful blessing you are to remind all of the sacrifice so many made for our country. I am always grateful for all of those who have fought for our freedom, and represented out country.

I LOVED the photos of your craft room! I’ve been waiting – for – ev – er to see the completed look after you teased the photo of Wayne putting things in. My question – what do you keep in all of the tool box drawers? I’m hoping at least one is dedicated to sweet treats – for humans. 🙂 And it’s always an adrenaline boost to have everything labeled and in it’s spot. GOOD FOR YOU!!

I also enjoy seeing the photos of you, Wayne, and the pups. Everyone looks so happy to be together and at home. I love the idea of “Where’s Finn” or “Where’s Addy”, since I have enjoyed seek and find books as a child, and my children enjoyed “Where’s Waldo”.

    Hugs to you my friend!

LOL – glad you enjoyed the photos – and no…the sweets drawer is in the kitchen. At least I have to WALK a LITTLE ways to snack!! :). And I’m happy you’re enjoying the expolits of the our new addition! 🙂
