Good morning and Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day! Hope your week is going well – we’re having a few days of gorgeous weather – the kind that makes you think Winter is over! AND the danged seed catalogs are pouring in so…I’m doubly inclined to think the worst is behind us and start thinking about planting veggies. I’m holding myself back cuz…I know that Mother Nature is sniggering behind her hand and any day now I’ll be back in the insulated covers and unhooking hoses!! 😂
My card today actually features a sun that I made using the Spring Corners bundle – a very pretty Online Exclusive product! A kinda cool (and outside my “normal” kind of card) angled panel – embossed with Beautiful Butterflies – helps bring the focal point to life. Take a look-see:
The inspiration for this card is from the Just Us Girls challenge this week. I selected Ina’s pretty card and used the angled panel – the butterflies – embossing and the single focal point.

I started by using the cool Spring Corners die to cut out the pretty floral from the corner of a Blackberry Bliss panel.
I positioned a piece of Basic White in the corner of the panel and used a pencil to mark the edges – which I then cut off with my Paper Trimmer. That made it easy to create the angled panel!
Using the Spring Corners stamps, I stamped the corner lines image in Lemon Lolly. Then I added the little heart a few times in Lemon Lolly, the splatters a few times in Blackberry Bliss and the little “rays” image a few times in Highland Heather.
With all the stamping done, I embossed the panel in the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder.
I adhered the panel to the Blackberry Bliss panel with Liquid Glue and then adhered it all on a Lemon Lolly mat for the card front.
On a piece of Lemon Lolly cardstock, I stamped the Spring Corners sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink.
I cut the sentiment with the Spring Corners circle die and cut out a Lemon Lolly Spring Corners starburst, too.
Using a Small Blending Brush, I brushed Lemon Lolly ink onto the Lemon Lolly die cut starburst to darken it some.
I tied a bow from two lengths of white Baker’s Twine and adhered it to the starburst with Liquid Glue. Then I adhered the sentiment over the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered the starburst sentiment onto the card front with Liquid Glue.
I added some Purple Adhesive-backed Sequins (FREE with a $60 order during Sale-A-Bration) and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a Spring Corners sentiment in Blackberry Bliss in the corner of the Basic White panel. Then I added the splatters, hearts and “fan” in Blackberry Bliss, Lemon Lolly and Highland Heather.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Highland Heather card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Spring Corners lined corner, heart and “fan” on the front…
…and I stamped the envelope flap with the Lemon Lolly heart and Highland Heather fan.
Et Voila! Spring Corners is one of my favorite bundles – I love the dies and how they cut out of the cardstock – leaving the design in the negative spaces. And the corner sentiments – I just think they’re the coolest! The stunning Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder is wunnermus – without even using the dies that come with it!

Finn Fan Fix 
Yesterday I was up and “at ’em” pretty early
Well – I was up at about the usual time but…I got on the computer quicker than usual (we got to do our Demo Pre-Order for the March Online Exclusives!!).
Finn – as usual – got up with me.
And – as usual – went right back to sleep after going out and having his morning snack.
Seriously!? I couldn’t keep from pouncing on him just a little and kissing all over his freckle nose!
Once I stopped pestering him – he went back to sleep.
A little later – guess he got…too hot.
Cold – hot – cold – hot.
I TOTALLY get it, bud!
