Good morning and happy Sunday! Hope your weekend is going well and that you’re getting all the holiday-prepping done. If you’re ALREADY done – please, I’m begging you – don’t tell me. I….am not ready! But…I’m fixin’ to commence to getting started. Any minute now! 🤦♀️
I’d likely get more prepping done if I didn’t have new Stampin’ Up! goodies to calling my name. But..I DO! And so – I AM! Today I’ve got a sweet thank you card using the Heart Shaped bundle – which you’re going to be able to get for FREE during the Jan-Feb 2025 Sale-A-Bration with a $120 purchase! And – I paired it with some new Floral Delight DSP – part of a gorgeous Suite in the Jan-Apr 2025 Mini Catalog. Take a look-see:
The layout for this one is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge.
I started by matting a pretty piece of the soon-to-be-available Floral Delight DSP on a Daffodil Delight mat for the card front.
Then I selected a burlap-y looking design from the pack, matted it on Daffodil Delight and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Heart Shaped floral heart wreath once in Granny Apple Green ink. Then I rotated the image SLIGHTLY and stamped it again without re-inking.
Then I cut it out with the largest Stylish Shapes circle die and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used the dies in the bundle to cut out a pretty heart-wreath and used Liquid Glue to adhere it to the stamped heart.
I used the Heart Shaped dies in the set to cut out a few Daffodil Delight flowers, a couple of Lemon Lolly leaf/stems, two Granny Apple Green leaves and one…Old Olive leaf. No partridges in pear trees, though!
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Heart Shaped sentiment in Pecan Pie ink and cut it out with the label die in the set – cheating the sentiment towards the right end of the die cut.
I used Paper Snips to shorten the left end of the sentiment and adhered it with Liquid Glue
.
Using Liquid Glue – I adhered the leaves and one of the Daffodil Delight flowers to the card front. I popped the final two flowers on with a little bit of Stampin’ Dimensional.
I added large Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to the center of each flower and then used little dabs of Liquid Glue to adhere three Tiny Bee Trinkets (these are ALSO available in the new Mini Catalog on 7 Jan 2025!) and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the heart wreath once in stamped-off-once Granny Apple Green in the middle of a Basic White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Pecan Pie card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the heart wreath in full-strength and stamped off once Granny Apple Green on the front…
…and more of the Floral Delight DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I love love love this Heart Shaped Bundle – with the pretty stamp set AND gorgeous dies. How beautiful is that heart-shaped wreath!? AND – it’ll be FREE with a $120 purchase?!
