Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day – from Colorado!! It’s snowy here – and there’s call for more. It’s pretty but… I’m non-current on driving-in-the-snow (sheesh…I’ve completely lost my qual on it!) So – y’all think warm….breezy….clear and a million weather thoughts, okay?! 🙂
My card today has been brewing in my head since the first time I saw the cute string-of-stockings die cut in the A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP. I paired that die cut with a fun piece of Reindeer Days DSP – and a couple of images from the Reindeer Fun stamp set. Take a look-see:
I was tickled to see elements in the Festive Friday challenge inspo list that would let me work with the fun die cut! So I got Bold Colors, Sequins, Geometric Patterns, and socks!
This one is quick, folks, so buckle up, buttercup!
I started by adhering a piece of fun plaid paper from the Reindeer Days DSP to a Granny Apple Green mat using Liquid Glue.
I stamped a Reindeer Fun sentiment in Real Red in the corner of a Basic White panel and matted it on Granny Apple Green.
I adhered the sentiment panel with Liquid Glue.
I put a bunch of Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the stockings die cut from A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP and adhered it at a fun angle above the sentiment.
I added a bevy of gold Neutrals Adhesive-backed Sequins and…yep. The card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second Reindeer Fun sentiment in Real Red on a Basic White panel. In the corner, I stamped the cutest-little-tree image EVER in Garden Green.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Real Red card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got that fun little tree from Reindeer Fun on the front…
…and more of the plaid Reindeer Days DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I know what you’re thinking. You’re like…dang, girl! That’s just the cutest darned thing – and it was SOOO easy, too! And you’d be right! The A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP has a TON of fun die cuts like this one. And it has cool card-front-sized panels, too! Add a sentiment – like from Reindeer Fun, like I did, and you’re ready to roll. And the Reindeer Days DSP is just…wunnermus! I LOVE that plaid!! 🙂
