Good morning and happy Friday! Hope your week has been a good one – and that the weekend looks to be good, too!
My card today uses the oh-so-pretty Artful Amaryllis stamp set and bundled dies to make a beautiful bouquet – atop a snowflake-strewn piece of Snowy Scenes DSP. Yes – Snowy Scenes DSP! It totally works. Take a look-see:
I started with a piece of the Snowy Scenes DSP that I adhered to the front of my Petal Pink card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using the dies in the Artful Amaryllis die set – I cut out a bunch of flower pieces!
From Pumpkin Pie cardstock, I cut out TWO of each of the larger petal dies – those are the ones with the multiple points. I also cut out one of each of the smallest little petal dies (single points). And I cut out two Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty DSP little paper-y bits using the littlest die in the set.
Using the Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend – I added color to the middle of each petal.
I used Liquid Glue to assemble the 3-point flowers – adhering two of the same-shape petals together. I used a Black Stampin’ Dimensional to assemble the medium flowers and the smallest “bud”.
I cut out two Artful Amaryllis leaves and two stems from Granny Apple Green cardstock. Then I used the Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend to color them and add a little depth.
I cut out the black flower centers and used Liquid Glue to adhere them to the flowers. For the two larger (3-point) flowers – I added the smallest Petal Pink Blooming Pearls to the outside of the flower centers.
I adhered the stems and leaves to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I adhered the assembled flowers to the card front – using Stampin’ Dimensionals for the two flowers on the left – and Liquid Glue to adhere the remaining flowers. I used a Glue Dot to adhere the vellum die cuts to each of the stems.
I tied a simple bow from two lengths of Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.
I heat embossed the Artful Amaryllis sentiment in white on a strip of Basic Black cardstock, snipped angled ends with a Paper Snips – and then adhered the sentiment over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a sentiment and the large flower from Artful Amaryllis in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Basic White panel. To color the flower – I stamped it with the fill image in Pumpkin Pie. And I stamped the leaves in Granny Apple Green.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Petal Pink card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Artful Amaryllis flower on the front…
…and more of the Snowy Scenes DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! If you google “amaryllis flowers” – you’re going to see they come in many colors – and…you can create them ALL in paper and ink using the Artful Amaryllis bundle. And – the set ALSO has beautiful sentiments to accompany the flowers so…it’s a sweet bundle, for sure! And the Snowy Scenes DSP is…surprising on this card but…it sure did work, didn’t it?!
I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
Finn went to his doctor yesterday.
He was – as always – the star of the show. EVERY tech came out to see him. They particularly love his smile.
He hates all the loving. Can you tell??
Yep – a little to the left…
THEEEERE it is….
I didn’t get to see the goings on in the back while they got his heartworm test and whatnot – but…Dr. Chris reported that he’d been “a very good boy for everyone”.
Well. Duh?!
He hardly even protested the shots.
Okay – there was a little protest. Who among us has NOT protested a shot?!
All done till next year!!

Such a pretty card! Love the die cut flowers, beautiful! Yeah, it does look like Finn was really unhappy at the vet. 😉
Yes – he’s happy in the waiting room. Once we go to the back he figures…okay – let’s go, Mom. This was fun but… :). Thanks, Amy! 🙂
Good boy, Finny! 🤗
He sure is! 🙂
What a delightful card. Love the die cut flowers and what a stunning background.
Thanks very much, Kylie! 🙂
