My card today MIGHT be considered “masculine”. Or…maybe not! You decide! It’s a sneak peek at the new – and wunnermus! – Changing Leaves Bundle – which includes a beautiful Hybrid Embossing Folder – all of which y’all can get on 3 July with the release of the new Online Exclusives! I used it all to make a thank you card! Take a look-see:
Whatcha think? Could be for a guy? I think so!
I started by embossing a Basic Beige panel in the leaf-strewn Changing Leaves 3D Embossing Folder and adhering it to the front of a Basic Beige card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using Stampin’ Seal +, I adhered a loop-d-doo of Basic Beige 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon.
On another piece of Basic Beige – I stamped the three leaves from the set – once each in Wild Wheat, Crushed Curry and Peach Pie!
I cut them out with the large die, then placed them inside the Changing Leaves 3D Embossing Folder and embossed them all at once!
I also cut out a bunch of twigs from Shy Shamrock cardstock, some detailed leaves from Summer Splash and…five small solid leaves from Basic Beige.
Yeah – I might have had a LITTLE too much fun with all the cool dies in this set!
I very gently curled the stamped & die cut leaves with my fingers and then, using Liquid Glue, I adhered them to the card front over the ribbon.
On a piece of Basic Beige cardstock, I stamped the Changing Leaves sentiment in Summer Splash ink. I cut it out with one of the label dies in the set.
I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment onto the card front.
Then, I tucked all my Summer Splash, Shy Shamrock and Basic Beige die cut leaves in and amongst the rest of the die cuts.
We’ve got another new goody coming – they’re the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-backed Dots.
They’re sorta perfect – so…I added a bunch here and there…and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Changing Leaves in Summer Splash on a Basic Beige panel. Over the top, I stamped one of the leaves in stamped-off-once Crushed Curry. And – cuz I already love them – I added one more Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-backed Dot.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel inside the Basic Beige card base and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Changing Leaves leaf in Crushed Curry on the front…
…and a second leaf in Peach Pie on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Wow – this is ANOTHER awesome new Online Exclusive product! You KNOW how I feel about leaves and foliage and collage-i-fying my card fronts and Changing Leaves is…PERFECT with all those things! Hybrid Embossing folders are SO cool and…when they emboss LEAVES?! Yes, please!

Love Mantas’. Did you know they bite! Many years ago, we had one in our house and my Dad picked him up to take him outside and that bugger bent double and latched onto his thumb! He has a scar—two little bite marks.
