Happy Sunday, y’all! Well – our trip to Home Depot didn’t happen yesterday – apparently I missed the memo from Wayne saying he already had the parts he needed. Fortunately, I hadn’t apprised Finn of the plan so – he wasn’t disappointed! What he doesn’t know….right?!?
My card today is a sneak peek at the Season of Green & Gold Suite from the Online Exclusives available to demonstrators now and customers on 3 Jul! According to the comments on my video last night – y’all EXPECTED me to use this suite first. And SOON! I pulled in the also-new Everyday Greetings stamp set – because I wanted a thank you card not a holiday card! Take a look-see:
This card is one that’s a sample online – so…much as I want to take total credit for this beauty, it came right from the brilliantly talented Stampin’ Up! design artists!
I started by embossing a Basic Beige panel in the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder for the card front.
Next – on another piece of Basic Beige, I stamped the Everyday Greetings thank you sentiment all over in Versamark Ink. Tip – stamping in Versamark is a great way to add subtle interest to cardstock!
Check out all the amazing sentiments in this new set – I know it’s going to have a spot on your shelf, for sure! Stick it on your list for 3 July!
When the ink was dry, I used a label die from the new Greetings of the Season die set (available 3 July 2024) to cut it out.
Then it was time to have some fun! I pulled out the new Graceful Greenery Specialty Vellum and started cutting out foliage!
Using the detailed dies in the new Golden Greenery die set – I cut out 4 leaves from the white-frosted vellum. I used two other dies in the set to cut out printed green leaf images from a second piece of the vellum,
Using Liquid Glue – I adhered the four frosted-white vellum die cut leaves to the embossed card front.
On Basic White, I stamped the detailed leaves from the Golden Greenery stamp set – twice in Fresh Freesia and twice in Peach Pie.
Those are two-step images, so I stamped the second (fill) image in stamped-off-once Fresh Freesia and stamped-off-once Peach Pie.
Then I cut them out with the dies in the set – they’re the SAME dies that cut out the printed vellum images – SOO cool!
I added the rest of the foliage to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I wrapped some Linen Thread around the card front a few times and then tied a simple knot (on the front), to hold it in place.
Then I slipped the ends of the Linen Thread thru the hole in the die cut tag/label and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the tag/label to the card front.
I tied the Linen Thread ends in to a simple bow.
For the sentiment – I show you in the video below a way to cut the sentiment using the tag dies in the Golden Greenery Set. But – I ALSO show you the sentiment cut with a die from the Cheerful Daisies die set (available right now!). THAT is for sure the easier way to do it, so…think on that, okay?
I stamped the sentiment in Fresh Freesia ink on Basic White and cut it out with the label die in Cheerful Daisies. Then I popped it in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Peach Pie 2024-2026 In Color Sparkle Gems and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped the Golden Greenery leaves in Fresh Freesia and Peach Pie on a Basic White panel. Then I added another Sparkle Gem!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel inside the Basic Beige card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Golden Greenery leaves on the front…
…and – even though I hadn’t used it on the card – I thought the Seasons of Green & Gold Specialty DSP (ALSO coming on 3 July!) was perfect for the envelope flap.
Et Voila! So…those of you who figured I’d use it straight away were…RIGHT! But…how could I NOT?? The Golden Greenery bundle has ALL the things I love – and I know you will, too. Add in the ability to die cut images from the Graceful Greenery Specialty Vellum AND the Seasons of Green & Gold Specialty DSP – and…boom shakalaka! If you’re looking for year-round sentiments, be grabbing the Everyday Sentiments set. And the Greetings of the Season dies – bundled with the Greetings of the Season stamp set – are chock-a-block full of labeling options! Plan to get it ALL first thing on 3 Jul!
I hope you like!
