Happy Friday, y’all! Hope you’ve got a good weekend planned! We’re thinking we need to clean out the garage a bit – we’ve got a new freezer coming next week. And – the garden. Oh man. The. Garden! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Speaking of gardens, my card today is all about flowers! I used the new Wildflower Designs bundle and some gorgoeus, coordinating, Wildly Flowering DSP to make a sweet card for a friend. Take a look-see:
The layout was inspired by this week’s Sketch Saturday challenge.
To begin, I used Liquid Glue to adhere a piece of Wildly Flowering DSP to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base.
Next, I used the large die in the Wildflower Designs die set to cut out a Basic White hexagon. I used it a second time to cut out a Misty Moonlight frame.
On the white hexagon, I used the two dandelion images (that’s what they look like to me!) to stamp the large flower twice in Wild Wheat and the small flower twice in Misty Moonlight.
I stamped the little cross-hatch image a couple of times in Crumb Cake ink. Then I adhered the shape to the front of the card with Liquid Glue.
I adhered the Misty Moonlight frame in place with more Liquid Glue.
Using Stampin’ Seal, I added a “bow” from a length of Moody Mauve 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim.
On a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, I stamped the Wildflower Designs sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink and cut it out with the largest Stylish Shapes banner die.
I adhered the sentiment over the “bow” with Stampin’ Dimensionals, added a few Moody Mauve 2023-2025 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second Wildflower Designs sentiment in Misty Moonlight on a Basic White panel. Over the top, I stamped the large flower in stamped-off-once Wild Wheat.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Wildflower Designs images on the front…
…and more of the Wildly Flowering DSP on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! The Wildflower Designs bundle and Wildly Flowering DSP – heck, the whole SUITE!! – has been on my gotta-have-it list from the first time I flipped thru the catalog. And – I think you can see why! Don’t miss all the cool ways you can use the layering dies (I’ll give you a little example of that in the video linked below!) – they’re going to be a go-to for you, I know!
