Stampin’ Up! CAS Spotlight on Nature Sneak Peek Thank You Card and an Unboxing Video!

Good morning and happy Tuesday!  I’m home and mostly settled and sort of mostly back in the saddle!  There might be a PILLOW on that saddle, but…in it, I am!

My 2024-2025 Annual Catalog pre-order arrived yesterday and…I got everything separated and stacked up all over the place.  A crafter’s room is never as small as when there’s a new catalog coming IN and an old catalog (or TWO) going out!  But – it’s SUCH a fun and exciting time.  I did a quick – well…sorta…video yesterday giving you a look at some of the new things.  Check it out right here!

One of the cool things you’ll spy in the video is the new Spotlight on Nature bundle (get it on 1 May!) – and it is gorgeous!  For today’s card, I pulled out JUST the stamp set to make a clean and simple and QUICK thank you card.  Take a look see:

I love this stamp set – and the coordinating dies are…amazeballs!!

For this one, I used my new Dark Peach Pie Stampin’ Blend to scribble ink all over a Clear Block H.  Then I used a Stampin’ Spritzer to lightly spritz the block with rubbing alcohol.

I carefully stamped the block down on a Basic Beige cardstock panel (yes!  Basic Beige – a new Basic Family color coming to you on 1 May in the new Catalog!).  I used my Heat Tool to gently dry the ink.

When it was dry, I stamped the large and lovely floral from the Spotlight on Nature set in Pebbled Path ink.

I stamped the pretty sentiment – love that font!! – from Spotlight in Nature in Pebbled Path next to the flower.

I matted the panel on a Peach Pie panel (one of the gorgeous new 2024-2026 In Colors!) for the card front.

I added three new 2024–2026 In Color Shimmer Gems (SOOO pretty – and available in the new Annual Catalog!) in Peach Pie and the card front was done.

THAT was easy! 🙂

On the inside, I stamped the large leaf image from Spotlight on Nature in Pebbled Path on a Basic Beige panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Peach Pie mat and into my Pebbled Path card base and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Spotlight on Nature leaves in Pebbled Path on the front…

…and the floral image on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  See that fun coloring technique?!  You could make this card in ALL the new 2024-2026 In Colors, right?!  They’d be so pretty!  I am already head-over for the Spotlight on Nature stamp set – and the bundled dies!  I KNOW you’ve put it on your list to get first thing on 1 May!

I hope you like!

If you’d like to recreate this project, all the products and card cuts you’ll need are down below! And, as I mentioned above, I did a sort-of-unboxing video yesterday – you can see this bundle and a TON of other new and wunnermus goodies in that video. If you’d like to see it – for the first time or again – here ’tis!

I’ve also created a printable PDF with written instructions and a list of the products used to create this project.  You can download, print and/or save it by clicking this image:

Finn Fan Fix

Finn is a very good boy.

As most dogs do – he LOVES cat food. 🤷‍♀️

And here’s TWO bags (he ALSO loves bags, as we know).  One of them is even OPEN and HALF full!

But – I can leave him in the tackroom – by himself – while I do chores that are easier without his…assistance.

And – he doesn’t even end up like….

He’s got so much self-control, doesn’t he?!
