Stampin’ Up! Festive Tags & New Painted Wishes Kits and…Blog Candy!

Good morning and…Happy Happy Hawwwwwwmp DAY!!!  Mike Mike MIKE!!  I hope your week is going great, y’all!

First thing – I wanted to share the new Painted Wishes All-Inclusive Kit that was released just yesterday!  It’s got a beautiful group of cards in it – and there’s no stamping – and no inky fingers! – required!

Make friendships blossom with floral handmade cards full of kind words. It’s time to spread love and kindness this season!

– Enough supplies to create 9 cards—3 each of 3 designs

– 9 coordinating envelopes

– Printed card bases, printed die cuts, adhesive, sequins, and gold cord

– Printed die cut sentiments in English, French, German, and Dutch.

Finished card size: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″

Coordinating colors: Garden Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Moody Mauve, Petal Pink, Pretty Peacock, Wild Wheat.

Just pull out all the pieces and parts…

…and get busy creating!

Here’s a quick video so you can see how it’s done!

It’s available right now – I’ve got one on the way (sorta regretting not getting more but…that’s what the NEXT order is for, right?!)!

You can pick it up right here!

NEXT!  How about Christmas gift tags!?  Have you seen the Festive Tags kit?  It’s been around for a bit so…you might have it already!  I just put mine together yesterday – needed some tags! – and it’s awesome!

Like the Painted Wishes kit – there’s no stamping or inking involved! Which is really handy – toss the box in your car and put the tags together while you wait for the kids from school or sports, or put it together on the way to your Christmas vacay.

I sat down and had all my tags together in just a little over 30 minutes.  That’s what I call instant gratification!!

There are three each of five different tag designs….

I used one of these on my gift to send!

All the sentiments are pre-printed stickers – in Dutch, English, French, and German  – and they go on quick as can be!

Like I said – they go together lickety-split  – you can see the process in this short video from Stampin’ Up!

If you need tags yet – get them right here!

OR….Maybe you could WIN a kit!

Finn Fan Fix

This is a guard dog.

Actually – it’s just a dog who was lick-lick-licking his bowl (JIC) and was distracted by…his reflection moving in the glass.

He is CONVINCED there’s something out there.

He’s….wrong.

But – I DID stand up to investigate.  Gotta encourage those guarding instincts, right?! 🤷‍♀️

Such a cute kit! Love the little holiday tags and can’t wait to get the new Painted Wishes Kit! It looks beautiful. 🙂 Yes, ever vigilant and always on the lookout for those pesky reflections. You never know who might be peeking in the window while you’re cleaning your plate. 😉

    • stampsnlingers

True – and they sneak up. They’re sneaky. That’s the thing about them! Thanks, Amy! 🙂

Driving around looking at Christmas lights. Of course you have to jam as many people as you can in the car first.

  3. Kendra Burns

We love doing twelve days of Christmas for a family each year (my favorite thing ever!)

  4. Sue Floyd

Great blog candy! Favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree. The ornaments I have are from decades ago and many are from people who have passed away. Some are from young people I babysat and now are adults with their own babies. Tree light color? I’ve had white lights for years, but last year my sister treated me to some colors changing ones. Wow! Thanks for sharing and always enjoy your blog posts.

On Christmas morning each one of us (4) picked our favorite Christmas book and we all took turns reading it. The Christmas story in Luke was a must. Afterwards we sang happy birthday to Jesus. Then they could open their presents. My girls are grown now but I hope my daughter will keep that tradition with my grandson.

One of our family traditions is to have hot chocolate in old fashioned Christmas mugs while we each look in our family Christmas stockings. Then, we do the usual things of Christmas lunch and opening gifts. But, the “star” of the day is playing Christmas Bingo. My grandchildren and family adults really get into it. It is always a fun ending to Christmas Day!

  7. Vickie Buller

These are so cute & easy to make.

  8. Carol Shafer

We love just getting together with family and having a meal.

  9. Denise Dornbusch

The family tradition we have started is to all wear the same Christmas pj’s. I know everyone does this but I’m glad my kids like to join in on this. Since my husband passed I love my time with my kids before they spend it with their in-laws.

  10. Lynn C.

Getting together with family, opening presents, and then having our traditional oyster stew along with everyone’s favorite dish to pass!

  11. Patricia Allison

Cute kit, Mary! I would use each tag on a card. Our favorite family tradition for Christmas is attending church. I love the special music, and a chance to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas… God loving us enough to show up. Emmanuel… God with us! Merry Christmas, my friend. ❤️

  12. Kathy Beemer

These tags are so fun and fresh. My favorite Christmas tradition is attending our Christmas Eve Candlelight service.

  13. Tracy Moreland

Singing around the piano. Mother in law at 88 plays and we sing anything people request. Lots of fun and no one cares that I can’t carry a tune, husbands family has musicians and an Opera singer.

This tag kit is beautiful. A friend got it and now I want it.

  14. Carol Busby

My favorite part of Christmas is Christmas Day. My family is here, the “busyness is over”, and we can all just relax and enjoy one another.

  15. Kevin Boyer

I have many advent calendars and enjoy counting down the days until Christmas. I love driving around looking at all the light displays and having all the family at home to celebrate together. Merry Christmas and thanks for the chance to win this tag set.

  16. Geann K.

Favorite tradition is Christmas Eve game night. After dinner it’s game time with all the family. We learned, a couple years ago when my son went to Vietnam, a card game called “Tien Lin “. It’s so fun.

  17. Claire Snyder

On the week-end after Thanksgiving we drive up our favorite river valley and cut a couple of Christmas trees. We get a permit of course so we’re legal. My grandson gets his own tree and we decorate it together. This year he wanted a woodland theme. The first week-end of December we head to Red Lodge, MT for the annual Christmas Stroll and parade. We peek in all the shops and sample goodies-such fun!
P.S.- One of my grandson’s dogs is intrigued by the shadows on the ceiling and will stare intently at them for several minutes. It’s especially fascinating with the Christmas tree lights reflecting off the ceiling.

  18. Kate

Yep! And Addy lets me know about every deer, jay, mocker, breeze – etc etc etc, as the king would add.

  19. Maryanne Willequer

When my children were younger, we always celebrated the Feast of St Nicolas on Dec 6th! One shoe outside their doors the night before, and then wait to see what St Nick brought them! I usually gave them something like new socks, pencils or pens, and some candy. My youngest son now does this with his 2 children. Tradition!

  20. Carol Coffman

My favorite Christmas tradition is playing a musical advent calendar that plays a song of Christmas one for every day. It brings to mind the joy of celebrating the true meaning of Christmas!

  21. Robin Dasch

My family has several “Traditions” that we love, the first is the Christmas morning breakfast of my Grandma’s Fruitcake and cookies with a mug of hot drink, coffee, tea or cocoa. The other is we do a German tradition of hiding the pickle ornament on the tree and the first to find it opens the first gift, although we found out through DNA that the Dasch name is not German! Merry Christmas!

  22. Aimee Nooney

Baking and frosting Christmas cookies. I have memories of standing on a stool with an apron tied under my arms with as much frosting in me as on the cookies.

  23. Debbie Wicklund

We love to go to our church Christmas Eve service. The church Deacons plan & host it. At the end, we circle the Sanctuary, light our candles and sing Silent Night. It’s so beautiful

  24. marge swanson

Making special traditional foods. Like Lefse…..loaf by the fire……lutefisk

  25. Marylu Tyger

Gotta love a guard dog who takes his job seriously! Our 13 pounder’s sentry station is on the bed in the front window where she sees EVERYTHING!

  26. Marylu Tyger

Our favorite family tradition is probably attending a musical performance at church.

  27. Mary Peterson

Going to Christmas Eve Services together.

  28. Phyllis Werner

My tradition is preparing a French toast bake the night before and baking it Christmas morning for our for our breakfast. Thanks for the chance to win this kit.

  29. Karen Lang

One of my favorite family traditions that I remember is pulling homemade taffy with my brothers & sister. What a zoo!! We would have oyster stew on Christmas Eve – my Dad’s favorite. Christmas day would start with checking out our stockings & opening gifts. Then Dad would chop some ice from the pond & we would make homemade ice cream. All sit around in evening, our teeth chattering, as we ate ice cream with choc. sauce & spanish peanuts. Traditions have slowly fallen by the wayside after my parents passed……our children are grown & have families of their own & new traditions have been started…..but still remember the good old days when things were easier!

  30. Jeffie Kopp

I love Christmas traditions, one of my favorites is Christmas Eve- dinner (always tacos) opening the new Christmas pjs, watching a classic like White Christmas, and we reflect on the past year and how lucky we are to be together.
It’s very important to encourage and recognize the guard duties!

  31. Tricia d

Our favorite tradition is baking cookies and other sweet treats during the day and then going to our Rotary Lights display in the LaCrosse, WI park in the evening. It’s a huge and beautiful display of lights! Thanks for the chance to win!
