Stampin’ Up! Autumn Fruitful Blessings Thank You Card

Good morning from the Crafty Elk Lodge in north GA – where it is COLD outside!! 🥶 It’s Day 2 of our Krew Retreat – and it’s everything we’d been anxiously looking forward to all these months!  We’re eating – and we’re crafting.  And laughing.  And – did I mention eating?  James is treating us very well, as usual!  Wish y’all could be here with us!

Now my card today is a harbinger of Fall!  I know – Fall’s been here a minute but…I liked how that sounded, okay? 🤷‍♀️ It’s got a pretty Fruitful Blessings die cut acorn plus a few pumpkins from the All About Autumn DSP.  And, one of my faves – a little Timeworn Type 3D Embossing!  Take a look-see:

I selected some elements on this one from the tic-tac-toe board at The Paper Players challenge this week. I went down the middle (brown-die cut-twine) and across the bo….okay.  I swept the board (except for turkey – there’s no turkey on it anywhere!)).

I started by embossing a Very Vanilla panel in the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and then matting it on Pecan Pie cardstock for the card front.

I selected a pumpkin-patch piece of All About Autumn DSP, matted it on Pecan Pie cardstock and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

I cut some pretty Old Olive and gold-embossed paper from the All About Autumn DSP with the Stylish Shapes next-to-largest circle die and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the acorn from Fruitful Blessings in Early Espresso ink.  Using Old Olive and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends, I colored the image.

I used the handy die from Fruitful Blessings to cut out the acorn.

On a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the Fruitful Blessings sentiment in Old Olive ink.  I snipped a banner in one end using Paper Snips.

I adhered the sentiment and then the die cut acorn to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Because every Fall card just NEEDS one – I added a Double Loop Linen Thread Bow using a Glue Dot!

I added a few Pecan Pie Adhesive-backed Solid Gems and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Fruitful Blessings in Old Olive on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Then I stamped a single acorn in Early Espresso ink and colored it with my Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pecan Pie mat and then into the Old Olive card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the sweet single acorn on the front…

…and a little more All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  All the things from Fall – on a card!  Fruitful Blessings has acorns and pumpkins and flowers and CORN COBS!  Which makes it perfect for autumn cards all the way around! I’m not even going to talk about the All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP – it’s simply gorgeous and does all its OWN horn-tooting! 🙂
