Stampin’ Up! Some Paper Pumpkin News and the NEW Best Destination Kit is Here!

Good morning and happy Saturday!  We’re mid-way thru our amazing retreat and I’m sitting on the sofa – the sun is up (still cold – but not inside!) – I’m on the second cup of coffee and…people are stirring.  Prolly cuz James is cooking bacon – and who doesn’t wake up for THAT!? 😉

I wanted to share some kit-stuff.   First is a look at the pretty October Home for the Holidays Paper Pumpkin kit!  It’s so pretty – and sparkly! – and it coordinates with the November Warm Wishes kit!

I put one of my two kits together – and got eight great cards in a jiffy.

As with every Paper Pumpkin – everything I needed was in the box

The exclusive stamp set is really cute and I used it to decorate the projects AND add some fun on the insides of the cards, too! And – this time we ALSO got a cute little bottle of Glitter Glue!

There are two designs in the kit – both with enough layers of houses and trees to make this Layering Lunatic happy!

The first is a portrait layout – featuring a Christmas village worthy of any Christmas display!  And – check out the decorated envelope flaps!

Evergreens front and center on the second design – and check out the sparkly banner behind the sentiment.  The kit has them already cut out and ready for all your cards.

I did a little stamping on the inside of each card, too. I used Mossy Meadow and Old Olive inks for the trees!

And then – when I was done assembling the cards – I used the Glitter Glue to add some sparkling snow to the roofs of the houses.  Can you see it??  It’s hard in the photo – but IRL – you can see it AND feel it!

SOO pretty – and quick, too!
