Stampin’ Up! Magical Cheers to the Season Thanks for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a beutiful color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

Our color palette – plus some ideas from a second design challenge I wanted to play with – led me to the pretty foliage in the Magical Meadow bundle and a little Lost Lagoon Tartan Specialty DSP.  But..I needed a Thank You sentiment.  There’s not such a sentiment in the Magical Meadow set….  Hmmm.  What to do??  Well – how about the Cheers to the Season set?  Perfect!  Take a look-see:

What COULD our color palette be?!

And here’s that Tic-Tac-Toe challenge I was working on! I went across the top (Leaves – thank you – Plaid) and since all these colors ARE in the All About AUTUMN DSP – I figured I got that square, twine and Die cut, too.  So…6 outta 9! 😎😎

Thanks to pretty paper – pretty die cuts – and a fun leafy sentiment – this one is quick and easy!

I started by adhering a piece of Lost Lagoon paper from the Tartan Specialty DSP to the front of a Thick Basic White card base using Liquid Glue.

I used the dies from the Magical Meadow die set to cut out some pretty foliage!

– Two leaves in Smoky Slate cardstock.

– Two leaves in Pretty Peacock glimmer paper (from the Three-Color Glimmer Pack – coming on 7 Nov in the Online Exclusives!)

– One leaf from Moody Mauve cardstock.

Using Liquid Glue – I adhered the leaves to the card front.

Using two lengths of Linen Thread – I tied a simple bow and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment-leaf from the Cheers to the Season stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink.

Using Paper Snips, I cut out the leaf sentiment.

I adhered the leaf over the twine bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Tip: if the ends of the die cut foliage stick out below the bottom of the leaf – cut ’em right off! 🤙🤙

I added some Pretty Peacock pearls from the Blooming Pearls pack – and the card front was done!

Told ya it was easy! 🙂

For the inside, I stamped some foliage from Magical Meadow in Pretty Peacock, stamped-off-once Lost Lagoon and stamped-off-once Moody Mauve in the corner of a Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Moody Mauve panel and into the Thick Basic White card base – and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Magical Meadow foliage on the front…

…and more of the Tartan Foil Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Mmmmm – I love this card!  The pile of pretty leaves from Magical Meadow is perfect peeking out from behind the fussy-cut Cheers to the Season leaf/sentiment!  And – of course – Tartan Specialty Paper for the base and a sweet Linen Thread bow!?  Boom!
