Good morning, y’all! Happy Friday! Got any big plans for the weekend? I’ve got catalog-packaging on my agenda for today and tomorrow morning – I’ll do my best to get them out on Saturday for sure!! Fingers crossed! We ALSO need to do some tomato tying-up! They’re going cray cray!! 😳😳.
Oh! And…my pre-order SHOULD come today so…I’ll try to pop up on YouTube to give y’all a sneaky peek at what’s coming in the new catalog! Watch for an update on my Stamps-N-Lingers FB page!
My card today is a bit other-worldly – no tomatoes on these colorful planets, I don’t think! The Reach for the Stars stamp set and bundled so-cool dies combine with the STUNNINGLY pretty Stargazing DSP to create another galactic beauty! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one was inspired by the Saturday Sketch challenge.
And I selected some elements from The Paper Players Tic-Tac-Toe challenge board. I got Green-Die Cuts-Masculine…right down the middle!
I started by adhering a piece of the Stargazing DSP on a Lemon Lime Twist mat for the card front.
Using the dies in the Reach for the Stars Die set, I cut out five planets from the Stargazing DSP. I used the largest circle die in the set for the middle planet. The next size smaller – I cut two of them – used the second-from-largest die. And the smaller planets – again, I cut two – used the third-from-largest circle. 🙂
I also used the dies in the set to cut two smaller rings and the large ring – all three from the Starry Sky paper in the Holographic Trio Specialty Paper.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the first planet – the medium sized one just above the large planet. That gave me a starting point. Next, I used Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the small planet and one of the rings in the top left corner.
I put my Black Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the large planet – with its ring in place – and set it where I planned for it to go on the card front.
Then I adhered the medium planet with Liquid Glue near the bottom of the panel – tucked under the large planet. With that done, I went ahead and adhered the large planet and ring with the Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I finished off by adhering the final ringed planet with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock, I stamped the Reach for the Stars sentiment in Starry Sky. I used my Paper Snips to cut out the sentiment and adhered it to the card front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used the two little star dies in the set to cut out a bevy of stars from the silver Holographic Paper and used little dots of Liquid Glue to adhere them all over the card front and…the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the bubbly image from Reach for the Stars in Fresh Freesia across the bottom of a Basic White panel. Then I added the three-star image in stamped-off-once Starry Sky.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Lemon Lime Twist mat and into my Starry Sky card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the bubbly’s and stars across the front…
…and more of the Stargazing DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I KNOW! So much fun to boldly go where…oh wait. Sorry – the Star Trek theme was running thru my head for a minute! The Reach for the Stars set is really fun and – when combined with the Stargazing DSP – let’s us create Star-Trek-worthy scenes and…it’s easy peasy!!
I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
The other day – in the moments BEFORE this…
… THIS was happening!
THAT didn’t last very long. When he moved, Wayne tried to re-position the carrot to try again but…
Finny was done with this foolishness!
MOM! Dad doesn’t know how to play with the carrot. YOU play!
Dads are pretty good for bowl/chip bag/cracker wrapper licking but….Moms are the bestest at pretty much everything else!!
