Stampin’ Up! Fresh as Cheerful Daisies Sneak Peek Birthday with Video Tutorial

Good morning and happy Monday!  I hope your Easter weekend was wonderful!  We had rain ALL day on Saturday but yesterday dawned BRIGHT and CLEAR and BEAUTIFUL!.  Hmmm – coincidence??  I think not! 🙂

My card today is another sneak peek – sorry.  Not sorry!  This one is the new Fresh as a Daisy Suite and I.  Love.  It!  The Cheerful Daisy stamp set and bundled dies are so cool – and make wunnermus flowers.  And the DSP – called Fresh as a Daisy – is…stunning!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.

I started with a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Fresh as a Daisy DSP that I cut into four pieces like this:

Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere the pieces to a Crushed Curry mat – keeping the design intact – to make the card front.

Using the VERY cool foliage die from the Cheerful Daisies set, I cut two Copper Clay and two Wild Wheat leaves – which I then adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used the large multi-flower die in the set to cut out a Crushed Curry floral.  Then I cut the three smaller flowers from Basic White cardstock.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the detailed white flowers to their corresponding flowers on the large Crushed Curry die cut.

Next, I cut two Wild Wheat Cheerful Daisies small solid leaves and used Liquid Glue to adhere them to the BACK of the leaves on the large Crushed Curry die cut.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the die cut to the card front.

I tied a simple bow from two pieces of white Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

I stamped the Cheerful Daisies sentiment in Pretty Peacock on a piece of Basic White – then I cut it out with the handy label die from the bundled die set.

I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few Copper Clay 2023-2025 In Color Dots (ALSO coming to you on 2 May!!) and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped the wunnermus large daisy from Cheerful Daisies twice in Crushed Curry on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  In the center, I stamped the flower middle in Copper Clay!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Crushed Curry mat and into the Copper Clay card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Cheerful Daisies on the front…

…and some more of the Fresh as a Daisy DSP (stamped with the daisy in Copper Clay!) on the envelope flap.

Et Voila! My My My!! What a stunning new Suite!  I love it already and am already making more Cheerful Daisies flowers (in my head!!) with all the dies in the set.  And I’m pairing them (again – in my HEAD!) with the beautiful designs to pick from in the Fresh as a Daisy DSP! 🤙🤙🤙

Finn Fan Fix

I went to the bedroom the other day to fold the laundry – yes.  Yes it IS a glamorous life!

Finn went with.  He does that sometimes – not always but…when it’s cool and he’s not plastered to the bathroom floor – he does.

Guess he decided if he needed to wait for me he might as well be comfy! 😂

Not sure what’s going on with all his arms and legs and stuff.  All tucked up under him! 🤷‍♀️
