Good morning and Happy Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all! Hope your week is going well! I am – sloooooowwwly! – digging out of the hole I managed to get myself in this week (time-wise!). I do NOT know how I did it but…all of a sudden – yikes! So – today is my get-caught-up day. Wish me luck!! 😉
The card I made for you today really appeals to me – I love the moody dark card front courtesy of the FREE Favored Flowers DSP. The pop of white from the Artistic Die set – with the flower-dy Queen Bee set atop it just….works! Take a look-see:
This one was inspired by the Global Design Project challenge this week!
I started by adhering some Favored Flowers DSP – the REVERSE side is all about geometric designs….
…onto a piece of Polished Pink cardstock to make the card front.
Then I used the big floral die in the Artistic Die set (in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog) to cut out a Basic White shape – which I adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Using the Queen Bee dies, I cut out three Granny Apple Green leaves and used some Liquid Glue to adhere them to the card front.
A few loops of gold Simply Elegant Trim – adhered with a few Glue Dots – was the next layer.
I used my Stamparatus to stamp the big beautiful bee from the Queen Bee set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock. Then I colored her with my Granny Apple Green (leaves) and Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends (flowers and heart) and cut her out with the matching die in the Queen Bee Die set.
I adhered the Queen to the card front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the two words from the stamp set in Polished Pink – putting them close together so I could cut them with the sentiment label die in the Queen Bee set. Which…I did!
I used a few Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and some Liquid Glue to adhere the sentiment.
I added some Polished Pink 2021-2022 In Color Opal Rounds and some new Gold Faceted Adhesive-backed Sequins and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped the script image from Queen Bee in Polished Pink in the corner of a Basic White panel. Over it, I stamped the little bee in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored the flower with my Polished Pink Stampin’ Blend.
I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Polished Pink mat and into my Evening Evergreen card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the little bee and scripty image on the front …
…and more of that pretty Favored Flowers DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I LOVE this Favored Flowers DSP, don’t you?! And – it’s PRICE is just so stinkin’ good! Uhm…that would be FREE with a $50 order, in case you’d forgotten! 😉 You can get it free when you order the gorgeous Queen Bee Bundle – and…maybe the Gold Faceted Adhesive-backed Sequins! Or – add the Artistic Dies – getcha that big pretty floral die cut! However you do it – be SURE to get this paper in your stash!!

Finn Fan Fix
Very pretty Mary! Love the colors and the layering is perfect! Glad that those darn shares are out the door! I’m sure that the supervision helped. 😉
Me, too! 😳😳 And yes – he was a pivotal piece of getting them done! Thank you for the kind words on my card! 🙂
Loving your card design! Very pretty!
Finn is such a good helper, uh, I mean Inspector!
Uhmmm – yes, he’s MUCH higher up the corporate totem pole than a mere…Cutter or packer! 😉 Thanks so much, Carol! 🙂
Beautiful card. Didn’t think I wanted this one…now I might have to get it. Usually inspectors get a bad rap, but I think this one deserves all the credit!
I’m glad it’s you and not me doing the shares!
LOL! I hear that! Thanks very much, Julie – I think you’ll have fun with it. And yes – Inspector Finn DOES deserve all the credit! 🙂
