Stampin’ Up! Country Floral Bouquet for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a great color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

The colors for our challenge today were obviously an invitation to use the Country Floral Lane DSP and Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP.  And who am I to turn down an invitation!?  I decided to go all in and pulled out the Country Bouquet Bundle then added in a few die cuts from the Designer Tags die set.  Take a look-see:

Gosh.  Can you even hazard a guess at our colors?? I used them ALL – cuz…I’m a teacher’s pet.  Everyone knows it! 😉

I also took some inspiration from the theme challenge at The Paper Players.

I started by adhering a piece of Sweet Sorbet Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP to a Sweet Sorbet mat for the card front.  Then I matted a smaller Basic White panel on Sweet Sorbet and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

Using the Designer Tags Dies (from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog), I cut out two Mossy Meadow leafy boughs – and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

With the cool Country Bouquet Punch, I cut out a Petal Pink heart from the Country Gingham DSP, a Sweet Sorbet heart and Mint Macaron leaves from the Country Floral Lane DSP, and a little Balmy Blue heart from another design in the Country Floral Lane DSP.

I adhered the two larger hearts with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped two Country Bouquet sentiments – one in Sweet Sorbet and the other in Mossy Meadow.  Then I cut them both out with the small tag die in the Designer Tags Die set.

I adhered the two sentiments with Liquid Glue and then added the Mint Macaron leaves.

I tied a little bow from Linen Thread and used a dab of Liquid Glue to adhere it.  Over the bow, I popped the little Balmy Blue heart on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the little hearts from Country Bouquet in stamped-off-once Sweet Sorbet a few times, then added a few small Gold Faceted Adhesive-backed Sequins and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped another Country Bouquet sentiment in Mossy Meadow.  Then I stamped the large heart over top in stamped-off-once Sweet Sorbet.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Sweet Sorbet mat and into the Balmy Blue card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got some Country Bouquet hearts in Sweet Sorbet on the front…

…and more Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Oh my – I love this Suite SO much!  These colors were made for each other like chocolate and strawberries!  The Country Bouquet Bundle – with it’s wunnermus Punch – is perfect for Valentines, gal-entines, pal-entines….  ANY-tines! And the two DSPs – Country Floral Lane and Country Gingham – are…simply gorgeous and perfect together.  Don’t forget about the cool products in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog – like the so-cool Designer Tags Dies!! 🙂

Such a pretty card Mary, and so delicate. I love it. I heard that Atlanta got hit hard by this terrible storm. I trust you and your loved ones are okay and didn’t suffer too much damage.
