Good morning good morning! Hope your weekend is going well.
Fun fact – today is National One Hit Wonder Day. Really?!? Think that thru. Someone – on the National Day Determination Committee (pretty sure that’s a real thing!) – thought that one hit wonders were worth having their own day. 🤔🤔🤔 It’s ALSO National Quesadilla Day. The NDDC did a MUCH better job on this one – quesadillas really ARE something to celebrate!!! 😉
Speaking of one hit wonders – my card today showcases some Stampin Up! products that will NOT be one hit wonders in your tool chest! The Leaves of Holly bundle with the Boughs of Holly DSP is so gorgeous and will be a workhorse for Christmas projects! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one if from the sketch at the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.
And I played along with the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge, too! I went down the middle and right columns and across the bottom row!
I started by adhering a piece of plaid paper from the Celebrate Everything DSP to the front of a Thick Very Vanilla card base using Liquid Glue. Remember this is a Host-Exclusive DSP pack – you can get it free using Stampin’ Rewards!
Next, I used the largest Deckled Rectangle Die to cut a poinsettia-strewn piece of the gorgeous Boughs of Holly DSP that I adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere two Wonderful Snowflakes (they really ARE wonderful!) to the card front.
Then I got to stamping and cutting the pieces and parts for my collage!
– I cut three pine boughs from Evening Evergreen paper from the Glimmer 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper.
– I stamped two berries in Real Red (solid stamp) and Cherry Cobbler (detailed stamp) on Very Vanilla and cut them out with the matching Holly Berry die.
– I cut out the next-to-largest Stylish Shapes circle die from the Very Vanilla paper in the Glimmer 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper.
– I cut out two detailed holly leaves and the piece that backs the sentiment banner leaves from one of the Boughs of Holly DSP designs…
I started the collage with the Glimmer Stylish Shapes circle, adhered with Liquid Glue.
Next up, I adhered the two DSP holly leaves with Liquid Glue, then added the berries and pine boughs over the top. Tip: be sure that your foliage doesn’t extend past the edge of the card!
I used the big sentiment label to cut out a Basic White label – and used Liquid Glue to adhere the DSP die cut to the back of the holly leaves. Then I stamped the sentiment from Leaves of Holly in Evening Evergreen.
I popped the sentiment onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added a couple of Cherry Cobbler Festive Pearls to the sentiment and a few gold Festive Pearls to the card front and…the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Leaves of Holly in Evening Evergreen on a Very Vanilla panel. In the corners, I added the smaller detailed holly leaf in Mossy Meadow – stamping it in each corner twice without re-inking. Then I added a Cherry Cobbler Festive Pearl.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat and then into the card base and the card was done.
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Mossy Meadow holly leaves on the front…
…and more Boughs of Holly DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! This Leaves of Holly Bundle is one of my fave Christmas sets in a long time! It’s got all the things! Add the amazingly rich Christmas tones from the Boughs of Holly DSP and…winner winner!!
I hope you like!

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well. 😔 I’m having to get a little more hard-over on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.
Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater (I’m not a monster!! 😎). And the gift is still any SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!
But – if you DO NOT use the code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:
- You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done lickety-split! OR….
- If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do it, so….
You’ll still get the monthly tutorial and link to my monthly Zoom The Craftroom (YEAH!!) but….not that free goody! And no one wants that to happen so….try to remember, okay!?
Click here to see instructions for how to add the code before you check out – it’s in Printable PDF Form so you can keep it handy! 🙂
If you have any questions – please get in touch with me! I’ll be happy to help!

Such a beautiful card! The layering is just perfect and the touches of glimmer paper are so pretty! I am sure that Finn talked someone into giving him a bit of the loaded baked potato…no mention as to who that might be. 😉
Nope. That individual – should he or she exist – will remain unnamed!! 😉 Thanks, Amy! 🙂
