Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Love & Happiness Card with Video Tutorial

Good morning and happy Friday.  Again.  The weeks are flying by, aren’t they?!?  Sheesh!

So – my card today uses the Forever Blossoms stamp set from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.  Which, when I made this card yesterday morning – was still available.  NOW?  Nope – it’s already gone – so…I am very sorry!  But…this underscores a VERY important point!  The products on the Last Chance List are really – truly – absolutely WHILE SUPPLIES  LAST!  Which means – if you’re waiting on something…DON’T.  Get it RIGHT NOW.  Here’s the sale in the Online Store – bookmark it cuz it’s the BEST and MOST UP TO DATE source for what’s still available!

The Bark 3D Embossing Folder and the Hippo & Friends Die set are BOTH on the Last Chance List (and the die set is on at 20% off!).  So…get them if you want them and don’t have them!  Hint:  you WANT them.  Take a look-see:

If you were able to join me yesterday for my Facebook Live video, I appreciate you spending part of your week with me.  If not, but you’d like to see the replays – here ’tis!

I was playing along with The Paper Players CAS challenge this week!

And I used a softer version of the colors from the Color Throwdown challenge.

I started by stamping the single bloom and single leaf images from the Forever Blossoms set in Crumb Cake ink all over a Crumb Cake panel.  Then I embossed the panel in the Bark 3D Embossing Folder and matted it on Pale Papaya for the card front.

I placed a smaller Crumb Cake panel into the Stamparatus and used it to stamp the large floral from Forever Blossoms in Early Espresso Ink.

I colored the image with my Dark Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends and then matted it on Pale Papaya.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the card front.

I used two lengths of Linen Thread to tie a simple bow – then I adhered it with a Glue Dot.

On a piece of Pale Papaya cardstock, I stamped the Forever Blossoms sentiment in Soft Succulent.  Then I cut it with the next-to-smallest octagonal die in the Hippo & Friends dies (this is 20% off right now – and WAY worth having in your stash!).

I used double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment over the bow.

Finally – I added some Soft Succulent gems from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (these are going away, too – so…snag you a bunch of them!) and the card front was done.

On the inside, I used the Stamparatus again to stamp the large floral image from Forever Blossoms in Early Espresso on a Crumb Cake panel – then colored it with the Dark Pale Papaya and Dark Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pale Papaya mat and into my Crumb Cake card base and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the large floral on the front…

…and a little bit of the Heart & Home DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Well – I’m sad that the Forever Blossoms set is already gone but…take a look at the Blessings of Home set.  Or maybe Honeybee Home!  You could for sure use them in lieu for this card! The Bark 3D Embossing Folder and Hippo & Friends Dies are still around – but…I sure wouldn’t wait very long (or – you know – AT ALL!) to pick them up!

I hope you like!

If you’d like to recreate this card, all the products and card cuts you’ll need are down below!

And…I’ve also created a printable PDF with written instructions and a list of the products used to create this project.  You can download, print and/or save it by clicking this image:

  1. Such a pretty card! Love the colors. Sorry that I missed your live, I’ll check out the replay! Finn is such a good helper and friend…always willing to give a buddy a ride…at least until they fall off and then they’re one their own. 😉

    • stampsnlingers

If they fall off….they’re picked up, shaken vigorously and then gnawed on for a little while! 😳😳😳 Thank you, Amy! 🙂

  2. I love this stamp set and I can believe it’s gone already. I love how you created your background paper with it. Finn is too cute and so generous to give Mr. Moose a free ride.

    • stampsnlingers

      Yes – he’s a giver, for sure! Thanks, Karen – it’s a gorgeous set! 🙂

Beautiful card, Mary. I love the soft tones and coloring on the Crumb Cake. Would make a pretty sympathy card too. TFS. I’d say Mr. Moose would be hanging on for dear life, like the Gingerbread Boy on the back of the fox crossing the river! 🤣

    • stampsnlingers

EXACTLY like the Gingerbread Boy! Mr. Moose DOES take some falls! 🙂 Thanks very much, Susan! 🙂
