Good morning and welcome back to the workweek.
BUT! It’s the first full day of SPRING!! Whoo-hoo!! Get thee behind me, Winter! And STAY gone! 😉
Yes – I know that yesterday was the “official” first day but…this seems more like a “FULL” day to me.
On Saturday – I found some very VERY cool boxes in my mailbox!
We’ve all really been anticipating the arrival of this kit – since it coordinates perfectly with the uber-popular New Horizons Suite from the Jan – Jun 2022 Mini Catalog. So..I was primed to get going and…going I did get!
When I opened the box, I found, as with all Paper Pumpkin kits – everything I needed inside the box!
This one lets you make nine super cute cards and coordinating envelopes (#nonekkidenvelopes!) and includes an exclusive stamp set and Misty Moonlight Ink Spot!
But…it ALSO includes a BONUS stamp set – and it. Is. Gorgeous!!
I made this kit according to the instructions – except I used a couple of different sentiments from the two sets – and then I decorated the insides!
The first card design is a gorgeous watercolored mountain scene – and I used the “A Little Note” sentiment – cuz…how handy! Notice the pretty envelope!
And – since, you know, #nonekkidenvelopes!…
For the inside, I stamped a second sentiment in Misty Moonlight and then stamped the fern image over top in stamped-off-once Evening Evergreen.
On the next design – I used two different sentiments on the front.
I left the inside of the “Thinking of You” card blank except for…
…the image from the kit stamp set. I stamped it once in stamped-off-once Evening Evergreen – then stamped it twice more without re-inking. I can add a sentiment over top when the need arises!
For the “Hello” card – I added a congratulatory sentiment from the Bonus set!
The final card is really gorgeous – with mountain die cuts and such pretty Pale Papaya Ribbon!
And then I pulled out the BONUS stamp set and my Pale Papaya ink pad. I stamped the GORGEOUS two-step flower – they’ve made the stamp such that I was able to get ALL the detail I wanted by stamping all the images in Pale Papaya. Then I added a few leaves in Evening Evergreen.
I love love love that Stampin’ Up! gave us a SECOND full-size stamp set AND that it’s a two-step set that makes gorgeous flowers! Sweet!
