I opened the kit up to see what all we got – and it’s everything to make nine treat boxes…including a roll of Tear & Tape and nine food-safe, decorated treat bags!

…in three super cute holiday designs!

I can totally see cookies – for people OR dogs! – in these treat holders.  SO much more fun than a ziploc!! 😉

I also saw that there are REFILLS – so…if you have this kit already – AND you need to make more to send all the yummy cookies and candies and treats you do each year…here ’tis!  I sure wouldn’t wait around – I think this one could sell out quick! 😳

Finn Fan Fix

After dinner yesterday, we all took a puppy or two and headed outside for the doing of “the business”.  😉

They ran – they played – they chewed leaves (and each other).  They….you know.

Jan is doing an amazing job getting these little messes ready for their new homes!  She calls them all to her and has them sit, then gives them all a little treat!  They are smart smart kids!

All that playing and learning resulted in….thirsty puppies!

And soon after, it all crashed.  The whole shootin’ match!

Right into a pile of puppies!

It was a good day, indeed!

One of my favorite holiday tradition is watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade on TV and waiting to see Santa arrive at the finale and wave to him making it the official start of the Christmas season for me.

P.S. those puppy picture are just adorable.

  2. Kathy Beemer

Family….it’s all about family traditions from reading the Christmas story, attending the Christmas Eve service to the food and, of course, presents.

  3. Sounds like you had a very Blessed Day! Full of fun too.
My favorite Christmas tradition is….I don’t know! Too many to count. Church service, family gatherings, putting up the tree. Should I say sending cards???? 🙂

  4. Some good sales on those awesome Stamp-n-Storage pieces! Great Paper Pumpkin Kit and sweet pictures of the puppies! 🙂

  5. Donna Black

I enjoy coming to your blog each morning…it seems to jump start my day – the “Finn Fix” is my favorite.
I sometimes scroll past the cards just to see Finn…sorry Mary. I have two favorites – the gathering of
family young and old and Christmas Eve service at church. One year the doors were opened after service and a new layer of fresh snow had fallen and no footsteps were in it. It’s like a new beginning
was given each person. I still get goose bumps thinking of it.

  6. Angie Latham

I’m not sure I have a favorite. I love decorating the tree, listening to Christmas music, baking, and sending out cards. But, when it comes down to it, the only thing I really must do is visit with family and friends.

  7. Paula Poindexter

I have a list of movies I watch every year!
I love spending time with family and special friends.
    Those puppies are so cute!
Iove what you do with ink and paper.
Give Mr. Finn a hug from me.

  8. Lisa H

My favorite tradition is having a good tasting “easy” supper on Christmas Eve and watching Christmas movies while we all laugh and relax before the big day. Less stress for Mama is less stress for everyone!

  9. alice hall

I enjoy going to daughters church for candlelight service then back to her house for munchies and visiting

  10. Nina Brady

My favorite holiday tradition is the one day my daughter and I make cookies together. I get to spend a whole day with her.❤

  11. Loraine Pike

My mother’s side of the family has gotten together for a BIG Christmas Eve ever since I can remember. There were 8 of us ‘kid’ cousins, and always tons of presents from & for everyone, we opened from youngest to oldest. We’ve now pared it down to a gift exchange / name draw, but still lots of fun. We had to do it via Zoom last year, but hoping to do it in person again this year. Happy Holidays!

  12. Karen

Spending time with friends and family. Watching “Christmas Vacation” and all just having a great time being together. Priceless.

  13. There are so many, but one of my favorites is Christmas Eve church service with family, then home for an easy snack (chili or sammies) and then opening one present (usually pjs-Aww mom, soft packages!). The best times are with family, friends and fur babies.
PS-love the puppies, thank you for sharing. We will have a litter soon-Dec 8 expected!

  14. I look forward to putting up the tree the day after Thanksgiving. I have so many ornaments from years gone by that is so fun to see them. They bring back so many memories, either of a family member or good friend. Some of the ornaments were made by our children.

  15. Paula

Reading from the Bible the story of Jesus’ birth with the children before they go to bed.

  16. Beth K

My favorite Christmas tradition is threefold: first going to Christmas Eve Mass, then driving around to see all the Christmas lights decorations and then having some spiked eggnog in front of our own decorated tree before going to bed.
    Those puppies are soooooooo cute!

  17. My favorite Christmas tradition is spending time with family and singing Silent Night at Christmas Eve service while holding a lit candle and all other lights are off. (This is possibly my second post – don’t know if I did it right the first time.)
