Stampin’ Up! Some Krew Retreat 2021 Shoebox Swap Project Peeks!

Happy Monday!  I’m home and Amy and Karen are home and all the other Kool Krew members are home or on their way.  We had SUCH a good time – and are already planning for a late October 2022 retreat at The Crafty Elk Lodge!  We decided that we’d try to go in the Fall when it was lovely and cool in the N. GA mountains so we could take even better advantage of the outdoor fireplaces and seating areas!!

ALL the ladies raised their hands to set the date!  I am already looking forward to another great weekend with old friends and…maybe some new?!  You, maybe?? 😉

So – based on the posts and FB updates, I bet you’re thinking all we did was yak and eat.  And then eat some more.

While that’s pretty accurate, we DID actually do some card making!  I thought I’d give you a quick peek at the projects we did with today’s post.  Some of them you may see in more detail in the next few weeks.  I’m just going to say….we had a BUNCH of wonderful projects!

My downline Debbie Hilands helped us make these gorgeous twinkly-light-filled Fall-themed bottles (I’m going to use mine to decorate an upcoming event dessert table!!) – AND a gorgeous card – all using the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle!!

Debbie’s SIL (and part of HER budding team!) Gloria Goller showed us a fun Halloween card with the Frightfully Cute Bundle – and taught me how to “splatter” with a Stampin’ Write Marker or Stampin’ Blend (thanks, Gloria!) – and brought us all a cute little treat box (complete with a mini Moonpie.  Is it bad that I’ve already eaten mine?!?)!

Janet Gruer – another CNCK teemie – brought an adoriable Halloween treat holder project for us to make!

All the way from Iowa – Julie Johnston showed us a cool cool easel card to make!

Our Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Leader – Amy Koenders – made a fun Christmas card featuring the Delivering Cheer stamp set and some (FREE!) Peaceful Prints DSP!

Donna Leonard – from Huntsville – shared an elegant card using the beautiful Merriest Moments bundle.

Using the same wunnermus bundle, Marilyn Hoseit brought another option to the table! 🙂  Love love love this beautiful bundle!

Karen Ksenzakovic (AKA Finny’s new bestest friend!) had a fun and easy gift card holder (and who isn’t going to need THOSE soon!?) featuring the Encircled in Warmth stamp set and that beautiful FREE Peaceful Prints DSP.

Since chocolate-gift-delivery-projects are ALWAYS good, it was fun to make Susan Stanley’s beautiful box/easel project (it holds a GIANT chocolate bar – which Susan even included in the shoebox kit! Yum!) using the Beauty of Tomorrow Suite of goodies.

Sue Prather used the Festive & Bright Bundle to make this cheery card!

And coming in with one of my fave bundles of all time – the Nature’s Harvest bundle – Cindy Blaine shared this project!  I took the liberty of adding a double-loop Linen Thread bow and we did a little impromptu “how-to”!

So – what did you think?  Pretty amazing group of projects from an amazingly wonderful group of ladies I am proud and blessed to call my friends and teammates – ALL met thanks to the amazing choice I made to join Stampin’ Up!  The BEST piece of all the good things that have come from that decision!
