Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees & Wonder Light Heart Christmas

Well.  Happy Monday?  I hope you DO have a good Monday, y’all!  Stress-free and productive!

Or – you know…. SHORT! 😉

My card today is a quick and easy one (who AM I!?!?) and it really lets one of my fave papers from the Jul – Dec 2021 Mini Catalog shine!  I really love the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP and I paired it with a simple sentiment from the coordinating Whimsical Trees stamp set.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Just Add Ink sketch challenge this week.

And the colors come from the Just Us Girls challenge.

And this occasion certainly fits the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.

Buckle up, buttercup – this will be quick!  Which means…here’s another great Christmas Card “multiples” idea for you! 🙂

I started with two panels of the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP (don’t you just love the colors in this paper pack!?) that I matted on Blushing Bride with Stampin’ Seal to make the card front.

I matted a narrow strip of So Saffron cardstock on Blushing Bride with Liquid Glue – then added it to the card front across the DSP “seam”.

I wrapped some silver trim from the Simply Elegant Trim pack twice around the card front – securing it in the back with Glue Dots.

I stamped a Whimsical Trees sentiment in Mossy Meadow on Basic White and cut it with my fave die from the Tasteful Labels die set.

I popped the sentiment over the silver trim with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a bow around the silver trim – added two Champagne Rhinestone Jewels – and the card front was done.

On the inside, I added a second Whimsical Trees sentiment in Mossy Meadow on a Basic White panel.  In each corner, again in Mossy Meadow, I stamped the holly image from Whimsical Trees.  I used my Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Marker and Light Mint Macaron and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends then added a Champagne Rhinestone Jewel by the sentiment.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Blushing Bride mat and into my So Saffron card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got another Whimsical Trees holly image on the front…

…and more of the Whimsy & Wonder DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I love the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP so much!  These colors just really work for me.  And the coordinating Whimsical Trees stamp set – I didn’t even NEED the bundled Christmas Trees dies!! – is so pretty.  Love the fonts for all the sentiments and the trees are just so…well….WHIMSICAL! 🙂

Ever thought about joining as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator but have questions about it? Our team is hosting a fun virtual event to answer all of your questions about joining and to introduce you to our team! We did a similar event in the past and had such a good time that we decided to do it again!

The event will be held mostly on Facebook on a special group page that you’ll be able to join beginning 28 August. The event will “officially” run from 4-8 PM Eastern on the 29th.
