Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Friendship Thank You

Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all!  Wednesday is dawning like all the rest here in Hawaii – beautiful!  And a little more humid than it was in Maui.  It rained here yesterday which was…surprisingly surprising!  We knew this was a more tropical-rain-forest-y environment but…it still took us a little by surprise.  It was pretty, though – only part of the sky was cloudy so there was sun and rain all at the same time! 🙂

My card today uses the pretty Encircled in Friendship bundle with the fun Encircled in Beauty Dies.  All on top of some pretty Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP with a Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper die cut boost.  Take a look-see:

I ended up playing with The Paper Players challenge! 🙂

I started with some Polished Pink and gold paper from the Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP that I matted on Soft Succulent for the card front.

Next up, I stamped the pretty floral from the Encircled in Friendship set in Tuxedo Black on a piece of Basic White card stock and cut it out with a die from the Encircled in Beauty Die set.

I colored the flowers with my Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends combo and the leaves with the Soft Succulent Blends Combo.

Using the more detailed die, I cut a piece of Gold Metallic Specialty Paper and used Liquid Glue to adhere the die cut over the floral element.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the whole thing to the card front.

On a strip of Basic White, I stamped the Encircled in Friendship sentiment in Soft Succulent, then I snipped a banner end with my Paper Snips.

I cut a similar strip from Soft Succulent, snipped the end, and adhered the sentiment to it with Liquid Glue.

Then I popped the sentiment onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a Polished Pink gem from the 2021-2023 Jewels to the sentiment and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the Encircled in Friendship sentiment in Tuxedo Black on a Basic White panel.  In the corner I added a small floral from the set in Tuxedo Black and colored it with the Stampin’ Blends.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Soft Succulent mat and into my Pale Papaya card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the smaller Encircled in Friendship floral on the front…

…and more of the Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The stunning Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP is the perfect backdrop for the pretty Encircled in Friendship flowers and gorgeous Encircled in Beauty die cut in Gold Metallic Specialty Paper!

I hope you like!

Beautiful! That die cut is gorgeous, especially in gold, and really highlight your Pretty flowers. Hope the rain, however pretty it was, didn’t last long! TFS

  4. Such a wonderful vintage feel – from the background to the filigree to the tulips. Great take on the sketch, Mary. So glad you joined us at the Paper Players this week
