Well – good morning, y’all! It’s T-5 for our departure to Maui! Yes, it’s finally getting here and now it’s happening at the speed of light! I keep adding to my “be sure to do this before you get gone” list and for some reason none of the things drop OFF! 😳😳 But – one way or the other, Saturday is going to dawn and we’re headed to the airport!
God willing and the horse don’t relapse, of course. Didn’t mean to get cocky! 😉
But – on to the business at hand – I’ve got a fun little card for you today that uses what I think of as sort of a “fly-over” bundle! The All Squared Away bundle is a ton of fun and I used it to make a bright and cheery card…it really plays well with the Sweet Symmetry DSP. Take a look-see:
The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
And the sweet color palette is from the macarons in the As You See It Challenge photo. Yum!
I started with some fun paper from the new Sweet Symmetry DSP that I matted on Soft Suede for the card front.
Next up, I took a panel of Basic White and embossed it one of the two folders in the new Checks & Dots Embossing Folders. Tip: take the time to make sure yur cardstock is STRAIGHT in the folder. If you emboss it crookedy, it is REALLY obvious.
Ask me how I know! 😉
I matted the panel on Soft Suede and then adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I stamped the square from All Squared Away in Mint Macaron on Basic White and trimmed it down to a square with my Paper Trimmer. Then I adhered the panel to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I adhered another piece of Basic White to a Foam Adhesive Sheet and then ran it thru my Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with one of the Floral Squares dies in place. Then I pulled the backing off and popped it onto the card front aligning it with the Mint Macaron square.
I used the flower dies in the Floral Squares set to cut two So Saffron flowers, which I adhered to the die cut with Liquid Glue.
I tied a simple bow from white twine in the new Bakers’ Twine Essentials Pack and stuck it on with a Glue Dot.
I stamped the All Squared Away sentiment in Soft Suede on a strip of Basic White and popped it over the die cut with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut some more flowers – from Flirty Flamingo cardstock and the same Sweet Symmetry DSP that I used on the card front. Then I adhered them all with Liquid Glue.
I used my Dark So Saffron Stampin’ Blend to color some small Pearl Basic Jewels and adhered them to the middles of the small flowers and the card front was done!
For the inside, I matted another strip of the Sweet Symmetry DSP on Soft Suede and adhered it at the bottom of a Basic White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Soft Suede mat and into my Mint Macaron card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got another of the Mint Macaron squares – and a sentiment! in Soft Suede (who SAYS you can’t put a sentiment on the front of an envelope?!? 😉 )…
…and more of the Flirty Flamingo Sweet Symmetry DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I really like this All Squared Away bundle – and have since I first saw it in the new catalog! I love the multiple stamped squares images that you can mix and match with the four fun square dies in the bundled Floral Squares Dies! And the Sweet Symmetry DSP has so many cool colors and designs in it – it’s going to be a great one for a lot of your projects!
I hope you like!
If you’d like to re-create this card, all the card cuts and products you’ll need are listed down below! 🙂
FYSA – you’ve got today and tomorrow to cash in on Double Peppermints and then…it’ll be gone! 😉

Finn Fan Fix
There ARE some perks to being a farm dog.
Sometimes, your horse has to have medicine and sometimes the human puts the medicine in applesauce.
Once it gets too low to pull out with the mouth syringe (to mix with the dissolved antibiotic) – then…the rest needs to be disposed of!
And.. Finn’s the man for the job!
