Good morning and happy Friday! I’m not gonna fib ya – it’s taken me a minute to get all the way back in the swing. Which…makes it sound like I’m “back” in the swing. I’m getting there – but… you’d think I was gone for a month instead of 4 days. Maybe Finny was on to something! 😳
If you were able to join me yesterday for my YouTube live, I appreciate you spending some time with me – if not, but you’d like to see the replay, here ’tis! 🙂
This card is a sneak peek of the new Garden Wishes stamp set and bundled Dandy Wishes dies….with another look the Dandy Garden DSP! I LOVE this new set – in fact, it might well be my fave in the new 2021 Jan – Jun Mini Catalog!
I started with a piece of the Dandy Gardens DSP that I matted on Blackberry Bliss for the card front. Then I cut a Rectangle Stitched Die from a second design and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I cut a large oval Stitched Shapes die from Whisper White and used the new – and AMAZEBALLS! – new Blending Brushes (you’ll be able to get these on 5 Jan 2020 in the new catalog!) – to color the oval with Bumble Bee and Calypso Coral ink.
I stamped a Garden Wishes sentiment and a few of the little dandelion do-ha’s in Blackberry Bliss. Just above the sentiment, I added the uber-cute bee in Tuxedo Black. I colored the body of the bee with my Bumble Bee Stampin’ Write Marker and brushed some Clear Wink of Stella on his wings.
I popped the oval onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I added a Blackberry Bliss Dandy Wishes (bundled with Garden Wishes for a 10% savings and available on 5 Jan) dandelion with Liquid Glue.
Using the dies in Dandy Wishes, I cut two Old Olive and two Mossy Meadow leaves.
I used Liquid Glue and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the leaves in around the oval.
Finally, I tied two lengths of new Mossy Meadow 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim (coming on 5 Jan) into a bow, adhered it with a Glue Dot, and the card front was done!
On the inside, I added a Garden Wishes dandelion in Blackberry Bliss to a Whisper White panel. Then I stamped the little bee again in Tuxedo Black (colored with the Bumble Bee Marker and Clear Wink of Stella). Behind the bee, in stamped-off-once Bumble Bee ink, I added the bee-trail image from Garden Wishes!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat and into my Calypso Coral card base (or…a Bumble Bee card base like I did on my video) and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got the Garden Wishes images on the front…
…and added some Dandy Garden DSP to the envelope flap.
Here’s how the card looks on a Bumble Bee card base! 🙂
Et Voila! I know – it’s an amazingly cool new bundle, right? Garden Wishes and the bundled Dandy Wishes Dies is part of the new Dandy Garden Suite – coming to you on 5 Jan 2020! I love this stamp set – the images and sentiments are gorgeous. And the die set…well. So cool!
I hope you like!

Online Host Club Openings – and a New Customer Bonus!
I’ve got openings in my Online Host Club starting on 1 Dec – and new little bonus for my Customers – which will ALSO be one of the new benefits of being in an Online Host Club! Whoo-hoo!
What is an Online Host Club? Glad you asked!
An Online Host Club lets you get some of the benefits of being a host – without doing any of the WORK of being a host! And – it helps you build your crafting tool chest a little at a time. While earning FREE goodies!
A club consists of three folks doing two consecutive three-month terms. Each person commits to buying $50 before shipping and tax each month.
Here’s how it shakes out…this is just an example! As you can see, each member gets to host TWICE during the six months!!
At the end of the club, I let each member select a stamp set up to $25 that I send to them for free.
What are the other bennies of a Host Club?
- At least a $150.00 Workshop order during EACH of your host months!
- Which means you’ll have at least $15.00 of Stampin’ Rewards dollars to spend on the exclusive Host Stamp Sets, or any other current Stampin’ Up! product during your host months. Stampin’ Rewards are Stampin’ Up!-speak for “free money”!
- You’ll earn DOUBLE PEPPERMINTS on your Host Club Orders. Each $50 order earns 4 reward points, a $75 order earns you 6 reward points, etc. You’ll earn at least 24 reward points during your membership, meaning you’ll automatically earn at least ONE $40 Peppermint rewards gift! (Remember – when you gather up 16 Peppermints, you get to select a free reward gift valued up to $40!). You can get more info about my Punkin’ Heads Customer Rewards Program right here.
- You’ll receive a FREE monthly tutorial with 4-5 projects and access to all previous tutorials for the duration of the club. Right now, there are over FIFTY tutorials available only to Online Host Club members. That’s around TWO HUNDRED FIFTY not-seen-on-our-blogs projects for you to use as inspiration (and they ALL have all the card cuts and instructions!)
- Access to my Weekly Zoom The Craftroom online Zoom Party – where you can come craft and chat with me and other customers! YEP – THIS IS NEW!!
- FREE catalogs during your membership term
- FREE shipping in your TWO Host Months
- A FREE STAMP SET of your choice valued up to $25 at the end of each “term”, any current set (excluding host sets)!
- At the end of the full 6 months, you’ll get first dibs at signing up for the next 6 month term!
When you join the club – you’ll commit to the full six months – in two consecutive three-month increments. This is a great time to join a club – with the pending release of the 2021 Jan – Jun Mini Catalog and SALE-A-BRATION fixin’ to start in January, too!
Don’t delay – there are limited spaces available!
If you want to join us or if you have ANY questions about how it would work…please drop me a note at stamps-n-lingers@comcast.net!
Now – the new Customer Bonus!
So – I’m setting up a “ZOOM The Craftroom” time with me every week! Every Monday, I’ll be in my craft room doing…something!… and you can pop in and we’ll craft together and chat or…whatever! Very casual – no makeup required (I for sure won’t have any on!). It’s a great time to ask questions or get help with problems or issues you’re having! Or…we can just work on our projects together and yak.
Like the Ordering Gifts – you’ll receive the Zoom meeting link when you place an order of $50 or greater (before shipping and tax)! There’ll be a new link every month. All you do is download Zoom and then you can click on the link at the start of the Office Hours and you’ll be in! No account needed. 🙂
Our first Zoom the Craftroom will be on 23 Nov at 2pm Eastern! I sure hope I get to meet you and spend a little time with you!

Finn Fan Fix
Last Monday, Finny and I had another reading-with-kids session online.
We were….both!…pretty tired. So…it ended up sort of being a bedtime story thing for us…
He started like this – at least sort of acting like he was paying attention.
But…within a few pages of the first book….
He didn’t even wake up to say goodbye!
I’m not going to say that I got comfy but….he was a pretty comfy pillow….
(warning – horrible selfie ahead!)
Reading is just so…soothing, isn’t it?? 😉

Such a pretty card! Love the layering and the colors are perfect! Sweet pictures of Finn “listening” to the story too!! 🙂
He was listening intently right up until he fell asleep! Thanks, Amy! 🙂
Oooh, I love this! Your blending is perfect for a background for that beautiful dandelion die cut! Beautiful layering, as always. Sweet Finn tried.
He did – it’s just SOOO hard to stay awake! Thanks very much, Susan! 🙂
I wish Chester would read with me but his attention span is well…you know…like that of a typical cat…lol! Your card is wonderful and I keep kicking myself for forgetting to submit my pre-order pre-order. Oh, well, December 1 is just around the corner. I couldn’t watch because I met with the card group for the first time since March 7! Have a great day.
So glad you got to spend some time crafting with your group! 🙂 Thanks so much, Karen!
Hi Mary,
Loved this card!! I’m been holding off playing with these goodies until Christmas cards are finished…(sigh)…(.just finished Thanksgiving ones!) It’s hard to wait, especially when I see one this lovely! But so nice to have wonderful things to look forward to.
So cute of Finn to sleep during the book reading….he looks like such a cuddle-bug.
I know – that’s the only trouble with new goodies – we want to PLAY with them! Yes – he’s a snuggle bug. Until he gets too hot! Thanks, Faith! 🙂
