Good morning and happy Monday! Did you do something fun this weekend?
On Sunday – our team got together via Zoom for our Quarterly Team Meeting! And – in addition to getting Stampin’ Up! updates AND doing an awesome Prize Patrol…a few of us demo’d some cards for the team to make. In TTBC (The Time Before COVID) – we’d have met in person and crafted together to make the four cards. Now-a-days? Zoom zoom!
We all used the same bundle – the Celebration Tidings bundle – but…boy, were our projects different! Although… we DID all use Plaid Tidings DSP! Appears we all LOVE Plaid Tidings DSP and want it to stick around forever!!
The card that I did has an autumn theme – all ready for cool Fall days and the arrival of pumpkins and leaves galore. Take a look-see:
I started with a piece of Cinnamon Cider that I embossed in the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing folder and adhered to the front of my Cinnamon Cider card base with Liquid Glue. Tip: this is a GREAT way to have the whole “front” of your card embossed – without the “warping” that can happen if you embossed the ACTUAL card front! You’re welcome!
I used the next-to-largest Stitched Rectangle Die to cut a Blackberry Bliss card stock panel and a Plaid Tidings DSP panel. I adhered them to the card front on an angle using Liquid Glue.
Next up, I used Stampin’ Seal + to adhere some 3/8″ Embroidered Ribbon in three loops.
I used the next-to-smallest die from the Celebration Labels set (bundled with the Celebration Tidings stamp set) to cut a Crumb Cake label. Near the top, I stamped the Celebration Tidings pumpkin image in Early Espresso. Closer to the bottom, I added the second image in Early Espresso.
I stamped the pumpkins two more times on another piece of Crumb Cake. Then, I used my Pumpkin Pie Combo and Light Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends to color all of the images. The pumpkin stem is colored with my Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker.
I fussy cut the two images on the second piece of Crumb Cake (just the pumpkins!) – and then popped them onto the label – offsetting them a little to create a little punkin’ patch! Then I adhered the label to the card front with more Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut two little Bumble Bee branches using the dies in Celebration Labels and tucked them in with a little Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped a Celebration Tidings sentiment in Bumble Bee and cut it with a Stitched Rectangle Die. Then I used Dimensionals and Liquid Glue to adhere it to the card front. And single Cinnamon Cider 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dot finished up the card front!
On the inside, I repeated the Celebration Tidings images in Early Espresso and colored them with my Blends and Stampin’ Write Markers. On these – I used my Bumble Bee marker for some of the leaves – to mimic the die cut ones on the front!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat and into the card base and the card was done.
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the pumpkins on the front…
…and more of that wunnermus Plaid Tidings DSP on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! The Celebration Tidings stamp set and bundled Celebration Labels dies are SO versatile! We had Fall, Christmas and Valentines projects at our meeting today – all from ONE bundle!
And we all ALSO used Plaid Tidings DSP – which has SO many color combinations that it’s perfect year round!
I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
Sit Pretty.
This is a little trick I taught Finn long ago when he was just a wee child.
I used a peppermint as the incentive.
WITH a peppermint – it’s pretty easy. He picks that paw up all pretty-as-can-be.
Obviously – the idea is that you “fade” the incentive (the peppermint) until you can get the behavior WITHOUT a peppermint at all at some point.
We’re….working on it. 😉
Kinda half-hearted!
Hey – what’s Dad doing?
Yeah – no peppermint means he’s easily distracted!
It’s an advanced maneuver! 🙂

I think you should create a calendar for 2021 with your most wunnermus cards and the all-too-handsome Finn on alternating pages! It was a fun meeting.
Ha – sounds like a good idea, Karen! Thank you so much for that kindness! 🙂
Such a pretty card! Enjoyed your zoom presentation very much!! 🙂
Yep, I can relate to Finn’s issue…if you hold chocolate in front of me, you have my full attention and I might even hold up my foot nicely…but if you’ve trained me with chocolate and then don’t have any this time, I’m done with you. 😉
LOL – I totally just had a mind picture of you standing in front of me with your foot held up as I wave a chocolate bar at you!! 😂😂😂😂
