Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Jubilee Mother’s Day Card

Happy happy HAAWWWMP DAY!!  Whoo-hooo!!

I’ve got a really pretty card for you today (she says with blushing modesty…..) that is just perfect for Mother’s Day!  It uses two great bundles in the 2020 Jan – Jun Mini Catalog…the Timeless Tulips and Birthday Jubilee bundles.  They go together perfectly!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from this week’s CAS Colours & Sketches challenge.

And the soft color scheme is from the Sunday Stamps color challenge.

I started with a piece of Very Vanilla that I embossed in the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and matted on Petal Pink for the card front.

Then I cut two of the detailed die cut panels in the Jubilee Beauty Die Set from Very Vanilla and I adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue. (It’s the middle die on the magnet in the picture below!)  I adhered the panels closer to the bottom of the card front so that there was about an inch “gap” at the top of the card front.

I used Glue Dots to wrap and secure a piece of Petal Pink 1/4″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon around the panel – over the “seam” between the two panels.

For the bouquet, I stamped the large tulip in the Timeless Tulips stamp set on Very Vanilla – twice in Petal Pink, once in Terracotta Tile, once in stamped-off-once Terracotta Tile and once in stamped-off-once Cherry Cobbler.  So….five flowers.  I punched them all out with the Tulip Builder Punch (bundled with the stamp set for a 10% savings!).

I also stamped five stems in Pool Party on Very Vanilla and fussy cut them.

I laid out the flowers and stems and then got busy sticking them down!  The bottom three flowers are adhered with Liquid Glue and then I popped the final two on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the stems in place.  You can see that I left the bottom parts of the stems sort of sticking up….

The sentiment, from the Timeless Tulips set, is stamped in Terracotta Tile on Very Vanilla.  I cut it with a Rectangle Stitched Die – modifying it to make it a little smaller.  I showed y’all how to do that on my video a couple of days ago….here!

I tied a big-ish loose bow with the Petal Pink 1/4″ Metallic-Edged Ribbon and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

Then I popped my sentiment over the top of the bow with double-stack Dimensionals.  Finally, a few Champagne Rhinestone Jewels finished off the card front.

On the inside, I added a perfect sentiment from the Birthday Jubilee stamp set in Terracotta Tile on a Very Vanilla panel.  I added a few tulips in Terracotta Tile and Petal Pink, with Pool Party stems and leaves.  Then I added a few more of the Champagne Rhinestone Jewels.  Cuz I love them so much! 🙂

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Petal Pink mat and into my Terracotta Tile card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got more tulips on the front…

…and a single Petal Pink tulip on the back of the envelope!

Et Voila!  I love this color palette – especially in Timeless Tulips!

The Jubilee Beauty Dies create gorgeous texture on your projects – especially pretty in tone-on-tone Vanilla!  I hope you like!
